Started working on a conveyor belt prop, probably will make different versions, the other one would be static and taller like in quarries:

No, CO broke the AnimUV shader in 1.8, and this doesn't affect just the mod, the vanilla animated signs are also broken.

Besides, the way I'm using normal maps wouldn't make sense for an animated one.

I love small trucks and I'm looking forward to this one. The smaller the vehicles, the easier the traffic.

If I could I'd vote for the "Wuppertal version" too - I know this is sounding kinda crazy, but I think those unique, old tracks would fit the Metro Overhaul Mods steel style tracks! Yes, that's right - in this case america and europe would meet in a city of mine :D

Kind of crazy that so many people are demanding Wuppertal-style tracks (and that they even know Wuppertal exists). I'm living like 30km away and never got there.

Düsseldorf Airport and Dortmund University, two cities in the same region, got systems similar to the ones made by Ronyx. I think they were developed by Siemens.

Though I've been using the Duesseldorf Sky-Train more often, I have taken the "Schwebebahn" already a couple of times. You can also see it from the train at several places. The depot in Oberbarmen is situated directly next to the railway station and you can sometimes see some "Schwebebahn" trains inside through the windows.

I figured out some more things about the additive shader which i tested a long time ago, some of you might remember.

It softly fades with other objects and that radius can be controlled, so you can disable that. And you can also control intensity, high intensities also have bloom.

@SimonRyr made the time-of-day dependent base of the mod and now you can test it:

The idea is you can add full RGB illumination sub-buildings or props to your buildings, and also control the time at which they turn on/off.

(steam friends only, but i accept all invites) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1201934559

Link to example assets with source files and scripts in the mod description.

Baked lighting using V-Ray as additive shader sub-building:

Not the best use case, but it works. it seems that being pushed out 2mm above the main model is enough to not have any z fighting, you can see some bright edges sometimes, as the shader is 2 sided.

Keep in mind this is a sub-building, so it's a duplicate of all the faces that have the lighting, and also another texture.

Started a japanese fire station, thinking of using the shader for a tiny piece here, similar to the picture, but only coming out of one garage door.
