That depends on what you mean by "petty" illegal things. To me, it sounds like stupid stuff like speeding or littering. If such actions were legal, we'd live in an uglier and less safe civilization.

Chances are some of the more overblown storm forecasts would have come true and we'd be more on pace for a normal winter.  However, that wouldn't cause the newspaper to report on it less as if anybody cares.

Snow into bacon , haha . I like bacon so that would be a good thing . Would make a couple less pigs loaded onto trucks , headed for process .
