hells ye. Can't wait to try the ped malls.

Hey i saw on Steam you made the comment 'will not do tram roads', why may that be? Too much of a pain in the ass? Moral or philosophical objections?

Not entirely sure as I wasn't the one to write it.  If I could guess, it was mentioned back when we had a more concrete idea of what we were doing and trams roads were not on that list.  Sadly, I have ADD and I guess I am liable to start working on...whatever.  The bike ped roads were just a matter of me saying 'what if'  and then I just made them.  I guess tram roads would be a plausible next step so perhaps we should say 'we won't make tram roads...unless we make them'.  Short answer, the rule may be removed.

Yes!!!!

Something that drives me nuts.  Does that mean you can remove pedestrian crossings when roads diverge?  It messes the traffic flow on otherwise well planned roads.  Also i wish when a side street intersects with a main road it didnt throw a pedestrian crossing across the main road and mess with traffic flow.

Also great work with the fix on corner buildings with one tile roads.  That always triggered my OCD

THEY'VE FIXED THE CORNER BUILDINGS ON ONE TILE ROAD ISSUE!

I LOVE THEM!

And I will give them any children I have.

If and when I have any.

Just passing by to say THANK YOU for the great update, I was surprised to discover new roads in my menu and the intersection and texture fixes are awesome too! I appreciate all the efforts put into this mod, which is one of the bests! Keep it up!

Is there anyway you guys could do a clean alternative to the narrow 2 way street? I really love it's usefulness, but it looks odd in some places due to the dirty and old look it has.

Hello! I really love what you guys are doing with this mod, first of all, thanks for such amazing job! Is there any expectations for the cobble/bricks roads? I have some ideas to recreate old 1800's cities, and this roads will fit very well! Thanks for everything!

Regarding this request:

I would love cobble roads too, also UK style pavements (see pic)

I am willing to spend the time making the textures, if The Network Extenders tell me what size they want.

I briefly tried to insert my own cobble and pavement textures into a Theme, but soon realised that the vanilla tools for this just use a non-directional, blanket texture. And I'd really like the cobbles/pavements to follow the line of the road. Likewise the horse-poo and filth I intend to add :D

Can you remove the parking on the side of the street on the plain pedestrian road? Or is there a way for me to disable it myself?

I don't think there's an easy way to do it but an alternative would be to use the zoned ped road tab.  None of those have parking.  They have lampposts but those can be removed with network skins by boformer.

Any plans or if it is possible to make a rule that allow bikes in the outer car lanes so bikes can drive in streets that does not have dedicated bike lanes? A shared car and bike lane feature. This is how i work in Denmark at least. Bikes can go in every street except if there are dedicated paths or highway/motorway.

Of course it's possible anyway. And it would be quite nice too.

This would sort of be like an 8L National Road. I was thinking it would have a barrier in the middle. You could easily use T++ and Barrier placer (or PLT) To convert it to full freeway.

There should also be a "Power Line Extensions" Mod. It would include power lines like these:

We also have relative transmission towers in Las Vegas, but they have less wires.

Maybe the powerlines could be part of Network Extensions. There should also be roads with powerlines.

You can achieve this effect with network skins if you download a wooden power pole prop in the workshop. I use it with all my rural roads and it looks great. I forget what the asset is called but should be easily found in a quick search :)

I had an idea yesterday that I think could fit in with NExt.

I've been looking for a way to remove crosswalks at certain intersections. Having a mod that did that would be cool, but then I thought, what if in NExt, you could define crosswalk or no crosswalk, and if you define it that you want one, you could have a few to pick from, such as brick crosswalks. I love brick crosswalks and I'd love to be able to get them in CS.

Is this something NExt could do?
