Hello my fellow Simmers,

I hope I'm posting this in the right place and that someone out there can help me out. I came upon the image below while searching for different custom content to spice up SC4, and was wondering if anyone has the slightest clue as to which mod or textures will produce the streets in the image. I'm not a modder or batter, but love to play the game and love and appreciate all of the custom content everyone has created. Thank you ahead of time for your help.

Technically this is a custom T21 mod, applied to the SAM10 streets which are part of the NAM. :Update: Actually the Mod on Moonlight's website is for SAM9, because the streets that are now SAM10 in the NAM were originally a SAM9 override, the T21 mod was part of that. See here, an updated version for SAM10 will shortly be available.

However, the T21 mod I believe is also included by default if you install this option with NAM, but to show the custom Props, you must have the dependencies for it installed, otherwise they do not appear.

There is also a custom Sidewalk in use here too, bear in mind if you installed that it would replace all sidewalks in your game, not only those for the SAM10 streets.

The creator of these mods, Moonlight, has all his downloads available here (note site in Japanese). The readme for the SAM9 version, lists the following dependencies:

  • CP_PropPack_2009a.dat
  • Kei-Jpn-Prop-BasicSet-01
  • Mas71 PROPs Vol03_080808.dat
  • PorkieProps-Vol2.dat
  • bsc_light_cones_a.dat
  • JRS_PropPack_Signs.dat
  • Mas71 Walls2 White Fence For ML JPN street.dat(included)

Hope that's of some help.

  • Thanks 1

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I can't easily give you a list of those, since there isn't one anywhere in the NAM documentation. I do seem to remember getting this working in my one Japanese-themed region, but it would take me some time to go through that and find the Props. I'll do my best, but can't promise anything.

Thank you! This definitely points me in the right direction and gives me something to work with. I'm newer to NAM and all that it has to offer, so I'm still learning but I'm definitely going to mess around with some things and see how it goes.
