Update from an earlier post looking towards the skyline from the main industrial area and ports. Would look nicer if/when the buildings gets updated for AD.

From the residential estate of Nottenne, east of the city.

Might make after-dark and a good LOD quality a requirement to any other asset I download. Some buildings don't really make sense with AD like local shops and many houses but others such as office blocks and flats/apartments look a bit odd in pitch black. Might be difficult to find good quality ones though but I'm tired of them being like that and the creators (for whatever reason) isn't updating them.

Be nice if one of the traffic++ or the road extension mod added a rural street as well without the crossing markings or turning lane arrows. It's meant to be a quite residential street, they're not needed. Just a cosmetic complaint though. I'll get the colour changer mod back on eventually.

Here's the first city I built in Cities: Skylines. Looking down the main highway that runs through the city center.

Here are a few from my city. Its loosely based off Boston, but with a lot of European inspiration.

Ok, maybe I embellished in Photoshop a little bit. I'm just anxious for custom skyboxes with clouds one day. Looking at downtown to the right and the financial district to the left, view from Chinatown.

Wow, that looks fantastic.

I have a couple of questions:

What is that building with the LG billboard on top? What is that building with the red brick front and white sides? What is that smaller white building with the red rollup doors? And what is that parking garage behind them?

Thanks for the reply. I had evidently seen the LG building before and didn't realize it because when I viewed the page, I had it favorited. But the others I'd never even seen before.

Thanks again and I hope to see more pictures as you go along.

Have a skyline screenshot from the Northern Bypass. This road is ideal for accessing the districts of north Markan, Nottenne, Fortesque and crossing the river.

On a side note, I could do with a traffic reset button. I've removed rush hour but so many cars are blocking the roads and my public transport doesn't seem to be functioning properly. Trains are just sitting around, my subway trains seem to have disappeared. Growth might actually be getting stifled due to the rush hour traffic hangover as ambulances aren't reaching residences suffering from noise and hearses aren't reaching dead people in time.

Wow, your skyline looks great (well-balanced and realistic)! Love shots like this.

Here's a screenshot of one of the interstates leading into Downtown New Holland:

Impressive, as always.

Except that one little parking lot to the left of the highway. That looks pretty brutal. I wouldn't want to park there for fear my car would roll right onto the highway. :P

That's one for the daredevils in town :D
I don't think there's much I can do about it: perhaps a little terraforming is still possible, but I think the adjacent highway limits how much can be achieved.

The two buildings on the right are the tallest in Franklin so far. Don't think I'll build much taller - I'm going for a medium-sized city vibe, not a metropolis.

I was going to ask the same question. I think it's a Prosper building, but I'm not sure.
