They look great. However, that brick is REALLY saturated and bright...I think your buildings would only benefit by toning it down a bit. Otherwise I've only got positive things to say!

They do stick out quite a bit. Might do that.

working on creating larger lot sizes, for those with more rural areas in mind. I'll do this by adding attached rooms and garages on the first floors, and creating patios.

Thanks for all your support guys!

Thinking of doing something like this for L4:

Heres what I have so far:
Thinking of making the right half a different wall shade or material.
Need to make some more adjustments.
I also tried lowering the brightness on my stock brick texture, looks alot better.

I would also make the bricks a little bit smaller, especially on the chimney.

Those are some nice looking bricks, but I agree they could probably be a bit smaller. By comparison, they look about the same size as that old man's head.

The right half could get a color map, if you so desired.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

    Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

These are beautiful houses and they look great in my city. I do however think that the L3's and probably the L4's as well should be a bit bigger, so they fill out the lot a bit more. They look to my eye to be just a tad bit underscaled compared to similar houses in the game.

I will be working on larger buildings and lots. These buildings are accurately scaled, i gathered as much references for their design. However they are only main segments of their respective buildings, to fill in smaller spaces.

Yesterday I noticed your latest L2 building popping up in my city for the first time - it's a little beauty!

Sorry for the lack of updates.
I've been really busy with school, work, and other projects.
I will probably start doing some more work, (bigger houses and lots) during the next week.

    Thanks for your support!

Oh, glad to see your face again. Your buildings are still some of the most used in my cities. :)

    Hey everyone.

I apologize for stating that I will restart this project soon. It was premature.
I may not be able to commit to anything until July or August.

What you can expect from me is to release 1 model by the end of July.

What I have envisioned when I started this project is to provide an awesome diverse range of models to create a large US set of Low Density American Homes. With your support I can make that a reality.
I request support on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/AndyKwok.

By being a Patreon, you will have access to polls that help my choose my next model.

I will make a post on May 20th to update you all on what I am working next in this project!

    Thanks for your support!

(PS, If you know anyone who is hiring a 3D artist, please let me know! thanks :p)

Hey Everyone its May 20, and I'm here to give you progress on the next stage for House 6

This is what its L5 looks like, I'm really asking for feedback here, What should I add or change?
My inspiration is colonial mansions, and I'm wondering what I can do to enhance that look.
    Thanks!

Along with making the bricks smaller, my suggestion would be to make them somewhat longer in the rear or add some rooms to give them some more dimension. Just a bit too boxy imo, but looking good so far.

Also, I highly suggest not using vanilla props/trees for the lots.

Depending on the audience you want to reach, I'd think using vanilla props/trees would actually be the best way forward: plenty of players don't/can't use Workshop at all or only in very limited numbers, and that group would be left out in the cold with barren assets if you'd use Workshop material (remember that these players would most likely not use Prop Anarchy and other beautification-related mods either). But that's just my personal opinion about it: obviously every asset creator is free to decide for him/herself.

This house is a base model for the 1x1 lot size.
Will definitely expand on models with larger and wider bases
