Hey Everyone its May 20, and I'm here to give you progress on the next stage for House 6 This is what its L5 looks like, I'm really asking for feedback here, What should I add or change? My inspiration is colonial mansions, and I'm wondering what I can do to enhance that look. Thanks! Requesting support on my Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/AndyKwok -

Hey everyone. I apologize for stating that I will restart this project soon. It was premature. I may not be able to commit to anything until July or August. What you can expect from me is to release 1 model by the end of July. What I have envisioned when I started this project is to provide an awesome diverse range of models to create a large US set of Low Density American Homes. With your support I can make that a reality. I request support on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/AndyKwok. By being a Patreon, you will have access to polls that help my choose my next model. I will make a post on May 20th to update you all on what I am working next in this project! Thanks for your support! (PS, If you know anyone who is hiring a 3D artist, please let me know! thanks :p) -

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been really busy with school, work, and other projects. I will probably start doing some more work, (bigger houses and lots) during the next week. Thanks for your support! -
American Small Town: Welcome Home!

I had a problem with custom props not showing up on my lots, here is what happened: When you upload a lot with a custom prop, make sure the custom prop is uploaded first, then subscribe to it, then go back to your game and unselect your original custom prop, so you only have the prop downloaded from workshop. Afterward, place the workshop prop on a custom lot to upload, and other users will be able to see the prop. The reason for this is because the custom prop has a different name then the one you get off of workshop. Example: Custom_Prop vs 1984762345.Custom_Prop. Once you do this you can just update your asset back to the workshop- 99 Replies

I will be working on larger buildings and lots. These buildings are accurately scaled, i gathered as much references for their design. However they are only main segments of their respective buildings, to fill in smaller spaces. -

Heres what I have so far: Thinking of making the right half a different wall shade or material. Need to make some more adjustments. I also tried lowering the brightness on my stock brick texture, looks alot better. -

They do stick out quite a bit. Might do that. working on creating larger lot sizes, for those with more rural areas in mind. I'll do this by adding attached rooms and garages on the first floors, and creating patios. Thanks for all your support guys! Thinking of doing something like this for L4: -

Well, it seems like not having my texture resolution divisible by more than 2 can cause problems. Not sure what the exact number is (possibly 32, 64?) , but 128 works! I just stretched all my textures from 384x118 to 384x128, and it loads fine in-game. Steam Version has been updated L3 house 6 includes 1x1, 1x2 and 2x2 view my collection to download: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=603235689 Some pictures: -

They are all 384x118 Should they be divisible by a certain amount? Still confused why It looks normal until loaded in the game. 118, is only divisible by 2, might change that to 128 -

Hey Guys! I recently uploaded L3 House 6, but I'm trying to fix a wierd bug with its LOD When I load the new model in the Asset Edtior, the LOD looks like this: However, when I load it in game, it looks like this: When I go back in to the editor, its now different then the first time! I re-imported the new models, and they look fine! So i repeated the process, believing i made an error somewhere, Save as a new asset, LODs look normal, I exit the Asset Editor and re-entered and loaded the new lot again, LODS look fine. I deleted the originals. When I go back to my city, the LODS of my new lots are bugged! I exit out of the city, reload my new lots and the new models are displaying the bugged LOD! Whats going on?
