From all the buildings I've seen in real, the Montevideo residential building in Rotterdam was definitely the worst.

Not only does it look bad, its location is bad as well (right behind Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line)

Leicester in the East Midlands in the UK. Second tallest building in the city is 'St George's Tower' which is a complete monstrosity.

I actually like that one pona. 4.gif Not too detailed, not too bad, mid-rise. The bricks remind me of a poorly applied texture though. 3.gif

People here seem to really hate experimental "modern" buildings and anything that came out of the 1970s, don't they?

If painted white, it would actually be pretty decorative. That is, until pollution makes it grey and even uglier than it is now.

Library and Archives Canada is one of the ugliest buildings I've ever seen, especially considering its importance to the country.

There has been a marketplace here since the late 19th century, but lately they decided to build a new one.

Probably they wanted to build something like the Centre Pompidou.

They say it's a ship. It looks like a "Clown Academy" for me. 9.gif

The interior looks fine anyway.

Many future buildings are ugly and they look like they will topple over.

My vote is for TI here in Las Vegas, it looks like 15 stories, but it's actually around 30 something, the windows are too cluttered.

the Burj Khalifa in Dubai....

some may think it's good looking, but i think it looks like something Batman would design when he's had one too many... and that's a biased statement, because it is almost 1,000 feet taller than the New World Trade Center will be. since i'm a New Yorker, i hate it, naturally.

Ha!! I got a hideous building:

TVCC_Site_2007.jpg

I was so glad when this ugly waste of space burned when it opened. If that isn't a sign it shouldn't be built I don't know what is.

I'm just not a fan of it though it looks better than when it was only cement.

2012 Bump. :)

This building here actually became quite famous in Nijmegen after they polled citizens on what the ugliest building in the city was. It used to be an electronics store sort of like "Best Buy" or "Futureshop" in the USA but they got rid of it and ripped it down recently.

Woah. :boggle:
