Sorry, I couldn't find thinner lines. This is just a purpose.

Very nice. I like the layout.

Me too. The one thing that bugs me though is that I used 2x2 roads for the highway running into downtown, where now I'd have preferred 2x4 lanes (because it splits up into, and merges from two 2-lane ramps). Unfortunately I can't upgrade because the highways are positioned too close to each other...

Since you can't go bigger without wrecking everything around that highway, you could always stick with it and just downgrade your ramps to single-lanes, since the highway they're feeing into are both two-lane carriageways which then become a four-lane avenue. That actually seems to make more sense to me anyway, just from looking at it.

Is the traffic heavy enough at that interchange that switching the ramps from two-lane to one-lane would kill the capacity?

Just an idea.

Yeah, it might be worth giving that a try: the road is quite busy (although it's not the busiest highway exit feeding into downtown), but the distance between the transition from highway to avenue and the first set of traffic lights is quite substantial, so it should be more than capable of absorbing large amounts of traffic without going gridlock on me. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's about the size of a small town!

lol Which town/city were you referring to? Or the entire metro? :)

Edit: The "it" you used was vague, I don't know if you meant my interchange or my home city.

I mean the interchange is really huge so a small town could possibly fit there.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clarifying. Yeah I suppose a town could fit in there... I also really am not pressed for space on that map so I decided to make a large non-compact interchange. It also is a connector between my industrial area and the rest of my city.

Let us know how it ends up working out.

A new interchange in my rural city. I'm quite happy with the result.

Overlooking the countryside now, about to develop a new town (way off to the right):

Since I live in the midwest, the grain elevators were only appropriate, as I see almost every small town has one on the outskirts.

Downtown interchange in The Flats, (very) loosely based on the I-90/OH-2 interchange in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

First image is an overview, facing south. Second shows the braided ramps setup with the interchange to the south. Third shows the port, which also uses this interchange and is accessible from all directions.

That looks very nice. Really clean. I also really like that parking lot with the pedestrian promenades. That looks sharp.

Is that the new sports arena? I haven't been able to find it.

Thanks guys :)
Yeah, it's the new stadium that came with the Match Day DLC (which imo. looks really good, although a bit too small to scale perfectly with the other assets) - of course in green because of my hometown's football club (FC Groningen, aka. The Green-White Army :D )

My slightly changed downtown feeder: I fine-tuned the ramp slope with the Node Editor mod, and ramps are now one lane instead of two, which looks much better, and traffic-wise it hasn't caused any congestion either:

Intersection of two major highways near the downtown of my desert city Al Madina.  Mostly just a directional T interchange with a number of additional exits to connect with service roads and three major surface avenues.

Wow,how could you achieve that?I want it!

I just draw the lines over the highway intersection. It took quite a long time. I tried creating an asset like that but there is a limit of 64 pieces per item. I suppose it has to be created as somekind of 3d model but I'm not familiar with that.

Looks great! Really smooth transitions, no odd/unrealistic angles.

I've been wanting to play so bad but my ram is broken so I can barely load a city. These interchanges are really great, really nice with no unrealistic intersections and smooth curves.
