^ Just tested this on NAM 31.2.  Works fine if you just drag it across the water.  Are you sure you installed all the extra bridges?

Maybe your terrain is unsuitable.  Try smoothing it out and/or levelling it.

What I usually do is drag a bridge of another network (road works the best), level the terrain at the ends, demolish the bridge, level again to remove retaining walls, then drag the bridges.

Hello, I have a FLUPs texture or model issue.

I have bee expanding my use of the FLUPS lately and while its functional, the street tunnel entrance is missing a texture.

Screenshot: https://imgur.com/gallery/f1o4NvE/new

Usually a sandstone texture appears, but today it was just a blank texture. so that's a bit odd

I have also noticed in the past when zoning hilly areas some times i accidentally create a street tunnel, which also has no entrance models.

Both are still functional, just don't show anything.

did i some how mess up installing NAM or is this a bug?

You have to place it on a slope that is exactly 10 meters high to see the entrance.  Unfortunately the model is not flexible at all.

That explains it, i think they are all 15m slopes i have them on. thanks very much!

I gots a NAM question. I've moved to a new city and using the disks I downloaded the game on a new computer. I then copy and pasted all my plugins from a flash drive to the computer. I started playing the game and noticed a lot of no job zots. So it hit me, do I have to physically install NAM in the game itself? Or does NAM work as a plugin or am I doing something else wrong?

1.  Since you installed from the CDs, did you apply the two patches?

2.  Run the NAM installer again.  It uses the Registry.

I tried to get it off of SC4 devotion, but it didn't download.  I also had some lag while downloading it, but nothing actually lagged when I played the game.  I also opened the folder and got a separate NAM folder, not with the other mods/BATs

I'm...confused as to what your issue is.  The NAM does create its own folders within your plugins to keep things organized and make sure they load in the correct order.

I have SimCity 4 Deluxe. I downloaded the latest version of NAM and installed the Maxis Highway override and RHW. These are fantastic and I have been using them for several months. However, I ran into a problem when building a Cloverleaf. I don't know why it doesn't like me. I do the whole "click anywhere frantically" deal, but it doesn't help. Please let me know if I've left out any vital information. Also, if you have a suggestion of building a better cloverleaf let me know. Should I not run RHW 6 or RHW 8? Please help. Thanks

Try adding several L2 RHW-6S starters there, then drag the RHW-8C underneath.

Hey guys, can someone please explain what I'm supposed to be doing here?

Josephinia-26Aug011384729883_zps161c70e3

I'm trying to plop one-way roads over the RHW-6 but before plopping there is no actual way to see which way traffic can go because the "ghost" on the cursor shows no arrows. So far so good, but how do these L2 OWR actually work? The paths are weird:

Josephinia-26Aug011384729895_zpse47fef01

What's going on here? :/

Now that I think about it, is it so that traffic can actually go into both directions on those pieces but just doesn't because the other elevated pieces don't allow it and so it doesn't matter how you place these?

That's pretty much the point. A lot of Elevated OWR pieces work like that.

Ah okay, that's clever I guess. I just wasn't sure or, to be honest, that thought hadn't crossed my mind until I already uploaded the pictures so I though I'd ask for reassurance :D

Hey, I've got another problem with the RHW that isn't so easy to solve as my last post. I'm trying to create a Standard Directional T-Interchange, but every time I drag an ERHW over a diagonal ground RWH,  it reverts back to....something. It does this when I plop a RHW-4 ground-to-elevated transition as well. Sorry for the yellow pause thingy.

Hi all,

Just a question: I have the lastest NAM installed (31.2). It's a custom installation. Of course RHW and NWM are included and I also made the choice to override the Maxis standard highways. I was just wondering if there are any bus stops and toll plazas (booths) available that work fine when using RHW and NWM (and no, I don't mean the standard very oversized Maxis bus stops).

I have always used a bus stop mod that replaced the Maxis bus stops (well, not really a replacement but an add-on) and that looked really nice on streets, roads and avenues, even on diagonal ones. These bus stops don't seem to work anymore when I use NWM. The same applies to toll booths (they don't work when I use RHW, of course I could get them to work on a four lane RHW by replacing a bit of the RHW by a standard Maxis avenue and then plop the booths there, but it looks ugly).

I'd really like to know.

The NAM doesn't contain any other solitary bus stops other than a modified version of the default bus stop and another for Elevated Road (found under Misc Transportation), but all other stations in the NAM have integrated bus stops. There aren't any toolbooths, though.

Be sure to read the Manual for more info on those transit stations; you'll find it in the Documentation folder.

RHW is generally a limited-access highway, which is why you don't see bus stops for it.  However, we may have a little surprise for RHW-2 users coming up.

As for NWM, there are the type of bus stops you are looking for for all the NWM networks in RTMT 4.0, which hasn't been released yet.  I'll be going back to working on that shortly after NAM 32 is released.

Of course.  The installer is already done; it actually preceded the NAM installer, which is based on it.

I noticed a couple bridge issues and A Nonny Moose told me to post them here, so here's the link.

Also the custom interchanges have some minor glitches: (all of them which have a diagonal part)

Those are just some transient aesthetic bugginess that has been with the NAM since day 0, and probably well before the NAM came into play. There's no real need to make a big deal out of it given that almost no one has ever did before.

The second one is hard to determine; I can't tell if what you have installed is a Euro variant of the MHW asphalt textures (one of the NAM options) or something that's third-party, but that's due to how the models on the puzzle pieces themselves are made, not the textures themselves.

Yup, those textures are something I've been meaning to patch, however I've not got round to doing it. I don't think I'll ever be able to get them to be perfect though, due to the way the Maxis Highway's textures are "assigned". I'll see what I can do ;)

The thing is though, for some reason some of the props, like the DPMO bus stops, were excluded from the installer versions. Only the ZIP versions had those files. Would every single possible prop and model in RTMT be included in the RTMTv4 installer?

Anything that was in the Zip version will be in the installer version for RTMT 4.0, along with a few things that were formerly external dependencies.
