put down small strech of RHW 6C and RHW 8C and used both cosmetic transitions 8c to 6c and a 6c ramp (entrance and exit) and lane markings are for RHD.?????

Hmmm... Tried my left-hand game with the same settings. It does appear that the RHW cosmetic pieces have the 'right-hand' textures with 'left-hand' paths. Even tried some of the Euro texture options on the NAM installation.

This appears to be an installer bug.  It appears that the installer is installing the correct files for the Euro textures, but I'll have to verify that they work; could you also please try the Euro textures?  In any case, the LHD textures are not installed unless the Euro textures are selected, and this is wrong.  (For example, you'd want the American-style textures with LHD for Japan.)  This will be fixed for NAM 32.

I did some further investigating, and it turns out that there are two separate bugs here.  First, the cosmetic pieces are unaffected by the LHD setting, which are why the textures are wrong even when the Euro textures are selected.  Second, the installer wasn't installing the LHD RHW textures when the American-style textures were selected.  Both of these bugs need to be fixed.

Heyo!

I'm currently using NAM 31.2, and for some reason the project symphony textures aren't working. I have done a fresh download/reinstall and this hasn't fixed it. As you can see, some parts are working. Can anyone help me with what may be wrong?

Thanks Maarten, worked a charm. :)

What did you have to move?  The loading order gets quite complex with all the textures and networks, and if you've found a bug here, the loading order may need to be revised.

When I updated originally to 31.2, the bug started occurring.

What happened was in my NAM folder, it contained a folder called Maxis Highway Override, along with other folders such as Network Addon Mod, RTMT etc. I simply renamed said folder to z_Maxis Highway Override and this fixed the problem.

Do you mean your Plugins folder instead of the "NAM" that I highlighted?  Otherwise, you'd have a NAM folder inside your NAM folder, and RTMT under NAM also, which is not correct.

Yo dawg, I heard you like NAM...

That is what happened, I must have moved them around when trying to sort a plugins folder.

Shouldn't the Maxis Highway Override folder be in the Z__NAM folder - separate from the Network Addon Mod folder?

Yes, that's exactly where it should go.

@ROFLyoshi:  I suggest that you reinstall the NAM from scratch so that everything is in the right place for sure.

I did that, and yet the problem still persisted. However everything seems to be in order with manual tweaking.

If the project symphony files are supposed to be in Z__NAM  and isn't, this may be a bug in the installer.

If the project symphony files are supposed to be in Z__NAM  and isn't, this may be a bug in the installer.

The strange thing is that I can't replicate this issue on my end...

It's not a bug in the installer; the whole problem arose because ROFLyoshi manually rearranged his NAM files and folders.  This is also why the problem can't be replicated by following the instructions.  The installer never installs (and never has installed) the Project Symphony files in the main NAM folder; ROFLyoshi must have moved them there, which caused his original problem.

@ROFLyoshi:  I suggest that you reinstall the NAM from scratch so that everything is in the right place for sure.

I did that, and yet the problem still persisted. However everything seems to be in order with manual tweaking.

The reason that I suggested the reinstall at this point is that things may be working, but if files and folders aren't exactly where the installer put them, your next installation will produce unexpected results.  For example, if you've renamed your Project Symphony folder to be "z_Maxis Highway Override", the installer won't recognize this, and Project Symphony won't be installed the next time you run the installer.  This folder must be named "Maxis Highway Override" and be located in the z___NAM folder in order for the installer to find it.

If there are other files and folders that are not in their original locations, then the NAM may be working now, but the next time you run the installer, it won't find these moved components, and they won't get into the next installation.

This situation is not really that different from a standard program, where you don't go into its folders and subfolders and start renaming things and moving them around, and still expect everything to work.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I already tried reconnecting the highway but no luck.

And is there a RHW-8S L1 or L2 bridge in NAM?

Try clicking on the overpass for it to convert. If not, try dragging the overpass further in each direction.

For the second question, there are RHW-8S L1 and L2 networks included in the NAM. Use the starter pieces and the FLEX transitions.

If you're referring to bridges over a body of water, there aren't any specific L1/L2 bridges, however you can use a normal 8S bridge and transition from L1/L2 to ground for it.

clicking and extending the highway still doesn't fix it. :(

It might be a starter proximity issue from the looks of things.  I see the end cap on the left side of your 8C has deconverted to L0 MIS, which is symptomatic of that.

I don't think that's the issue. It isn't deconverted to L0 MIS. Road and Rail just working fine. I already tried making a new one and extend both sides but it is still not working properly.

Try clicking around feverishly until it works. Here's an example of something similar I did yesterday:

I am having an issue with the RHW-2... well don't know if it's really an issue... but it's been a while since I played SC4 and I just got everything updated (previous version of NAM I had was 30)  But anyway, how do you get the RHW-2 to have a dotted center-line?

Cosmetic pieces. They're found in the 1-Tile CPs Button. You can also look them up in the RHW User's Manual.

Thank you for answering that question, now one more... I can't find a transition piece for RHW-4 to AVE-4... or does it exist?

Wow you answered that quickly, before I could even edit it, haha!  What I meant to say was an RHW-6C to AVE-6 transition.  EDIT... I figured it out... wasn't working right at first but now its transitioning correctly.  EDIT 2:  I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but I read the RHW manual all the way though... I don't understand FlexFly pieces... Can it be used for RHW-4 like I'm trying to in this picture? post-181313-0-29518700-1378902701_thumb.

I'm really starting to get frustrated because I can't even make a simple T-Interchange like this: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=14073.0  And more specifically this step: http://www.picpanda.com/images/aa0lnek2fpbzyb1ej53y.png Certain angles aren't working right, and I've been experimenting with the same interchange for about 4 hours now and still cant get it to work.  This is the glitch that keeps happening.   Doesn't matter if the though lanes are on the top, the opposite lanes wont go under the bridge.
