That argument could be made in both directions. Hamish didn't show up for over a month, but we didn't reach 0 either, so we really can't say we won. We can't win out of laziness to post.

I love Undead Labs, Turn 10, Remedy, Respawn Entertainment, and Ubisoft (and whoever's making The Division).

Maybe. Let's start a conversation like on 10,000 posts.

I have one. What's the number 1 thing you dislike about Sim City 2013?

I don't own the game, but there's quite a few things. Probably the unrealistic gaps between each city tile. To be honest, I'm not sure of the game's concept as a whole, as it's far too restrictive.

Same right here. I'm no fan of SimCity, particularly because of it's graphics and city tile sizes. I don't mind it's simulations but it's not really my taste and until they get the offline mode fixed, there's no way I'm ever considering buying a game that still depends on Origin and requires the online function. (NZ is a datacapped country which I'm sure most people would know, so I can't afford to use online to play the game when I feel like it)

I too don't have the game, and will never buy it. What bugs me are the lack of modular highways, and of course, the city tile size, gaps between cities, online-only nature, and having no sense of scale. And also, the price comparison: SimCity 4 can be as low as $8 while SimCity 2013 is $60, why spend the more expensive one while the cheaper one has more ability and flexibility than the latter one? ;)

^amen to that brother. (31)

Thing is, unlike most, I can handle a 12fps framerate without a problem on a passive game like a City Simulator. When it's an aggressive game like Halo or a user-dependent game like MineCraft, then things get annoying.

You forgot your number, but I suppose that Duke87 or someone else will fix that soon.

As to the new SimCity: I do like the concept of the agent-based simulation, though I do not like that the Sims don't have fixed homes and workplaces. That's just stupid.

Now, what I dislike most. I guess that gameplaywise, the city tiles are the problem. They don't seem to be big enough for enjoyable long-time expansion and while that alone would not be a problem, not having the city tiles touch makes it close to unbearable. As to the game itself, I think it's bad that it is not properly moddable right now (because of online rollbacks), which is opposed to what made SC4 the game it is.

So I'd say that modding is the biggest issue right now, because if complete 'moddability' does become a reality, it might even be possible to change city tiles somewhat. At least, that is what would make the game worth buying to me.

Parts of the new SC seem interesting, however like Cyclone Boom I dislike the space between the city tiles, I love having the tiles flow into eachother, creating the impression of a continuous city/region etc.

My least favorite part is the forced multiplayer. It had potential, but they threw it out by not listening to the fans.
