I don't even- o.O

You wanna know something funny? The wildlife roaming around at the time didn't really take notice of the gaping hole, they simply fell into it and levitated back out as though nothing had happened.

You should put a sign on that avenue that says "Hell- Next Right".

Nah, it should be called the Sima Humboldt. (II?)

Just put a forest down there, and there you go!

That happens when you place NWM transitions on ground that isn't flat. It happened to me once, I just built a bridge over it

I never knew that, I guess you learn something new every day. I did try to build a bridge over it though, but apparently the hole wasn't wide enough, or something like that. I will admitt, it would've been cool to have a bridge in the middle of otherwise flat terrain.

It happened to me with a OWR-4 to OWR-5 transition so my hole was a lot bigger. At least the Sims don't have to take an airplane now to get to China. They can just jump into that hole.

Never seen that before. It was probably caused by minimizing the game while saving. It does weird things when you do that.

Clearly I screwed up big time when editing this region's config.bmp...

RegionviewwithConnection.jpg

I created a neighbor connection in that city and it led to the city underneath it. :|

I accidentally pressed the Windows button while on full screen and this is what I encountered when I reentered the city.

That's odd, at first I thought it might be because the edges of the cities aren't reconciled, but there seems to be some other graphic problems there as well.

o.O

mountmckinley1316953143.png

something wrong here....

Oh, is that an oddity?

I have it all the time with mountainous regions. I thought it was because the upper parts of really high tiles couldn't be rendered or something in region view (when loading the city, the image cuts off at the loading text, too)

But since it's apparently not normal, is there a solution to it?

Try the high altitude patch ;)

I already got that.

It's set to 6000m I believe.

But that's to change the maximum altitude of the actual city tile, which works just fine and I can build above the height that's invisible in the region. And it's not the height that becomes invisible in the region, it's the top part of the picture of the tile. Region city tiles are made with a zoom 1 level (zoomed out all the way) picture of the city, and there is a borderline to where you can see when sliding as far up as possible. And I think this is also the line where the tile in the regions becomes bugged. That's why it's a straight horizontal line, it doesn't follow any heightlines.

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself.
