Oh okay, that makes sense. I suppose I'd better get on that before I put too much stuff on my map... hopefully I haven't passed that point already, lol Adding stone and such underground, I guess. You know how super flat worlds only have about 5 layers of dirt before bedrock? What I was trying to do was add more layers of stone to build basements and stuff in.

To anyone who uses MCEdit, is it possible to use the program to add blocks to the bottom of "super flat" Creative worlds? I've tried to do this a couple of times but I haven't gotten any results. Is there something I'm missing? I kinda hope there is.

New-ish suburb I completed recently, probably my best so far.

Here's Isle City, a beach town loosley based on the typical Florida vacation city. I'm kinda liking the Soft Glow effect in GIMP, I just wish it would highlight colors other than white/grey.

New-ish pics from me: And one more from a different city...

East Riverdale is easily one of the poorest areas in my entire reigon. Some of the buidings from the last pic burned down, as you can kinda see here:

Thanks for the compliment And thanks for the tip too, I think I might actually have highway walls in my Plugins folder somewhere...

The main retail district of Fleetwood City: Sorry about the long post, btw

Neighborhood park in a newly-developed area of Fleetwood City (a new city I've been working on).

Here'a zoom level one pic of the City of Middleburg: I'm still a bit surprised that I was able to fit all of this into a small- (or was it medium? I can't remember) size city tile...

Here's a shot of Middleburg's downtown at night: (Middleburg is part of a new series of more-realistic looking cities I've been working on.)

Yes, those are the Maxis default malls. I belive that they come in one style for all of the tilesets, but I will admit they are quite rare. You have to zone a fairly large area for them to grow, if I recall correctly the aprox. lot dimmensions are about 5x7 ingame spaces. If you mean train stations, I would say the Maxis default 'Grand Centeral' station, which I'm pretty much sure is a reward. Something about its size and appereance. Then again, there probably are better looking stations out there, but considering that I haven't gotten too far into custom content and can't seem to do anything meaningfull with the BAT, this is my favorite for now. Also, I do usually use the Maxis default stuff for residential; some of the houses in the Huston and New York City tilesets are actually pretty good looking.

For me it's actualy surprisingly hard to choose, but I would say that the various Maxis default shopping malls are something of a favorite once they do decide to pop up in my city (I usualy make them historical and make sure to keep the area around them nice).

I suppose there's nothing particularly special or well-designed about this roundabout, but I like it nontheless.
