I have had this happen and it was because the rendering was set to hardware. Except with me I had golf course greens on top of roads and a giant street ten times the size of a highway running underwater. Also buildings floating down the river.

so i found this

no mods... no plugins.... only shows up on zoom level 3... first time i've seen it

udriveit is pointing to the area of investigation

as i drop in closer you can see the residential community i have planned (udrive it still pointing)

looks like some cul-de-sacs and big yards for these sims

up close they look fine

some nice little patios they have

moving to zoom level 2 and these patios are still visible

but at zoom level 3...

when i tilt to the side...

looks like someone got a package... simcity, this is all you... get it right@@!

by the way the game and all these pics and the upload all came from my netbook... this thing is awesome although it kinda makes me think... maybe the steam version needs to be patched also, although the game does play like it is patched (roads dont make automatic connection across avenue) or maybe its the netbook... ill transfer it to my desktop to see if this box persist)
