Agricultural addon with vineyards-to-brandy production

Ha ha... why make wine when you can go straight for the hard stuff.

I wouldn't mind paying for;

- agricultural pack addon

- 4 seasons simcity

- the ability to really determine the way city tiles are placed and connected in regions.

- a 5th & 6th great works.

- region interlink, instead of just cities in a region. So that each of us pals can own our own regions, yet still trade or share resources.

- lastly, terraforming

I would like to see, but not pay for;

- desalination plant,

- oil rigs, so we can still have oil resource under the sea, for cities that are mostly sea

- hydroelectric dam

- over/under criss crossing avenues

- bigger tiles, much bigger

- at least another 1 more highway connection per city

- last but not least, a better system controlling sims, the way they move or where they stay. Doesnt make sense having 8 police cars tackle a crime with half of them making u turns at least 2 times each haha.

Just my opinion, thoughts.

Plop: Places of worship (jobs but mostly supplies happiness like parks)

Plop: Cemeteries (same as above)

Plop: Military installation buildings (supplies jobs, demands industry freight)

Plop: Cruise ship dock (supplies jobs, tourist attraction)

Plop: Major Zoo/ Arboretum  (every legit city has a big zoo) (supplies jobs, tourist attraction)

Plop: Museum of natural history, science, art, etc (supplies jobs, tourist attraction)

Plop: National Park, e.g., Yellowstone (supplies jobs, tourist attraction)

Financial Center specialization (build wall street, stock market buildings, e.g., NASDAQ, Dow Jones, maybe a few major banking buildings, e.g., JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc, the Federal Reserve)

Regional Government Specialization (Using the U.S. as an example: Federal level buildings, e.g., Congress building, President (or Governor's) mansion, CIA, Pentagon, National Institute of Health, Center for Disease Control building/lab, pretty much an endless variety of state or federal level entities)

Chemical/plastics industry building(s) which expand off of the oil specialization tree

Plop: Major Pharmaceutical company which improves region health or perhaps extends the positive health effects of clinics and hospitals

Plop: Pebble beach level golf course (either tourist attraction level or just regular level commercial)

Livestock ranch -> slaughterhouse -> freight

None. my main gripe with SC2013 is the fact that it has been released with this exact profit making ability in mind. well that and the stupid cascade AI

I do not want to see any DLC, with the exception to NEW options never seen before, i will not buy any DLC that is 25% or more of rehashed content from previous simcity games.... for example if they fix the roads by adding all the missing road\highway links and then add the ability to name roads and mass transit routes, instead of mindless street cars\busses\trains i will not pay for it.

To this day i have not purchased any BF3 DLC and never will because of how and why it was implemented, my decision to purchase SC2013 DLC will be no different unless its not forced and is original at the core.

We shouldn't have to pay for bugs to be fixed; that should be the responsibility of the game creator. DLC is additional content that is not necessary for the game.

80% of these will be available but with a special DLC costing in the region of 20-30$

After reading everything listed here I can't believe no one has said:

Desalination Plant-I'm tired of chasing water all around the map

More Power Options-Something that doesn't need constant deliveries that usually don't come until the power plant is at half capacity.  Perhaps geothermal, hydro, waste to energy, or osmotic.

Just do the sewage plant trick....I never run outta water any more...put your sewage treatment down right next to your water plant

Real life map of a city where you solve the problems of that city in SimCity. Just like my home town where traffic is horrendous.

Plop: EA HQ......Oh, hang on, I see they already have that tower.

                           Sp Corr: Vu

It's hard to figure something like that out , without a working version of said 'game'.

Truth be told, though, I've spent probably ~300h moar buggering around, and trying to figgur't out the busted stuff, than I would, had the game release been 'As Advertised'

In the event, this topic is moot, for me, as I will never, knowingly give EA another red simoleon, ever.

I'ma gonna head over to the ST/Ex, now; get me a fullmod SC4, put on some Hawkwind, and lose this attitude.

-Plopable advertising billboards along roads

-Multiple styles of water towers (with the tremendous variety of towers IRL to take from its perplexing how they settled on the current one, and only one).

Communications Specialization:

-Radio station company (a structure with a large radio tower which the player can add studios such as pop station, R&B station, classics station, country station, sports talk, news, newstalk, etc)

-TV network company (a structure which the player can add studios to the building like daytime soaps, local news affiliate, sports affiliate, etc),

-Weather/Civil defense station/radar (like the radio station it is a structure but it has a Doppler radar, maybe some antennae, provides some jobs, maybe happiness like the radio station).  Also allows you to plop civil defense/warning siren poles around the city.  I think they could go off when there is a disaster in progress.  The closer your camera is to them in game the louder they get if they're blaring.

-Movie studio/production company (a structure you can add marketing building, advertising building, movie star trailers, movie lot A, B, C, etc)

DLC which I feel they need to add and cannot charge for: Decent terraforming and street tools (auto terraforming is broken/weird/extremely silly and the lack of overpasses, manual bridge tools, etc is crippling)

DLC which I would pay for: underground/subway and anything cosmetic

Don't they already have the Origin building (not plopable bit it's in the commercial set)? If they did have an EA HQ I would surround the city dump with a few. Gives that pesky monster something to do before it has a snack and leaves.

Don't get me started on 'Oddzilla'; She hit my last city 4 times, in quick succession, just as it was gathering steam. :P

How about something that includes regional disasters. Like a mother ship landing and spitting out saucers that abduct / destroy things. the region as a whole must deal with the disaster rather an individual cities.

other regional disasters could include, tsunamis, Hurricanes or sinkholes.

Some new regions that have special "great works" would be cool too. Like a giant suspension bridge connecting the region or an underwater Arcology site.

Grow the grapes, transport them to a shed and jump up and down on them. Collect the juice. Grow lots of yeast in a big vat. Import sugar. Put grape juice sugar and yeast in a vat. Allow time for fermentation. Decant resultant wine after a month or a year, year's export price is higher. Plop distillery and distill the good wine to cognac. Pray you don't run out of bourbon while the brandy's maturing

Love all of these ideas.

Somebody putforth the idea of a military base Great work which I believe is an excellent idea for DLC.

http://www.reddit.com/r/SimCity/comments/1b67jm/military_base_great_work/

I would add to that by allowing another city specailization: Military-Industrial Complex

Potential Buildings/building add-ons:

Vehicle Factory

Small Arms Factory

Ordinance Factory

Military logistics facility (tradeport for military items)

Military Recruitment Facility

You build vehicles, weapons, ordinance (accepts alloy, electronics, ore, and possibly industrial freight of tech level 2 or 3 industry) and recruit soliders (maybe uneducted sims so they don't go criminal?) and send them to the "Military base" great work and once completed it provides jobs to your sims, takes freight from your industry, and it will respond with forces when your cities are attacked by UFO's or the Lizard with the effect being the lizard and UFO's are stopped in place once engaged by the defense forces which mitigates their damage.  Also, maybe as a purely asthetic feature they will respond to natural distasters and you'll see "national guards" on your streets, not doing anything that would functional coding, they are "keeping the peace".
