Ah, yes, that looks like a rendering issue.  I'm sure some of the experienced BATers in this forum may have a solution, unfortunatley I'm clueless when it comes to actual BAT problems.   :)

Oh well, guess I'll have to look for some help in the forums. Thank you very much SimCoug  :thumb:

Sorry for the little slowdown on the project my friends, but as I stated, I'm having serious issues with Zoom 1 and I want to fix it before moving on, hope you guys understand me  :)

I ran into this issue as well. You forgot to un-check "convert units" when you imported your LODs into gmax. It happened to me on my first BAT attempt.

Definitely try that, but I'm not sure its that. Usually that just results in microscopic BATs (you would see just a tiny dot)...

This looks like a normal LOD glitch error. I would try opening a new session of 3DS Max and import/merge everything from your current scene - except for any lightrigs or LODs etc - then apply new lights and LODs. Finally, group everything, including the LODS, and make sure its set to coordinates 0-0. See if that works.

Failing that, you might need to try reinstalling GMAX and the BAT, but not sure if that will work either. This happened to me, for about a year I was transferring my exports from one machine to another because the BAT didn't work on this one, but did on an old one, then I rebuilt this one and now it works on this one. As you say, its a bit finicky sometimes :(

Good luck, these are really great would be a shame if you can't fix this problem.

Wow! I thought this was a stupid bump, but you're actually back! I hope you get BAT4Max set up and working fine because it would be such a pity if all the talent and skill you've shown thus far didn't end up in a final product. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya! :)

    Great news!! Welcome back  :)

Thank you guys! I'm glad to be back and I'm hopping I can really finish my brazilian BAT's this time!

So far I've had a few problems with renderings but nothing that halted progress in my work. So, I wish to present you a little preview on my new houses!

    teste_zps1e4dba12.png

I sincerely hope you guys enjoy my new stuff as I'm really making a great effort on bypassing the technical issues I'm having so far.

I also think I owe everyone a explanation for my long absence: I've had serious problems with my computer, I've lost all my SC4 files, had to start over from scratch, it was infuriating, so I decided I would step back form the modding scene. But I've recently bought a new machine and decided to give another try on BATting, I hope this time all goes well.

Thanks everyone for visiting this thread! Muito obrigado mesmo!

Nice new creation, looking good as a filler for SEA and SA cities.

My reaction when I saw the houses

    Jeremy-Renner.gif

Well well, you have been out of the BAT business for a few months now, but you haven't lost your skills! In my opinion you even improved!

    22441464.png

Compared to the colonial homes you did a few months ago, the roof texturing is much cleaner, it is very neat. The details on the left building are very well made and give an even better feeling of realism. Keep up the good work, I really hope you will be able to render and export everything this time!

    :thumb:

Edit: Are these buildings from Garanhuns?  Also, just a small suggestion, I would had Satellite dishes and water tanks on some of the houses ;)

Here's another preview, this time I decided to showcase some houses with the peculiar architecture from the rural areas from the Northeast of Brazil (the two houses on the left). I'm really trying to make,

this pack as diverse as possible by showcasing the various types of façades present in my home region. Those houses are based on houses mainly from Exu-Pe.

Thanks everyone for showing up on this thread and please return for more!  :D

Overall looks lice but there's something about hte roof that bothers. The 3-D effect is not showing up as nice as it could do. Maybe you could decrease the saturation (in order to keep it from appearing to be a photorealistic plane) or you try to add some additional depths (I guess those are simple textures and no procedural maps, if so try to work on it a little bit is PS or GIMP or whatever). Keep it up ;)
