How many regions do you operate?

I run two at the moment. New York City (not the default one) and New Harbour, a modification of one of my STEX maps. Since both have all tiles in use, I may pick up a new one today. Variety is the spice of life.

Besides the little arsenal of unused regions that I have, I'm currently playing on three: my test region, Salhale Island - an American-based island I plan to make a CJ of soon, and Prasjav, an European-based riverside city.

Shamed to say about two. First, my european plains region and second, my modern styled seaside region.

One at a time--right now, one based on the Old Saybrook map, with five cities.

Only two is a great plenty. Nothing to be ashamed about. I removed all the default regions from my working installation folder because I can always get them back from the game residency.

    Umm, 64. :uhm:

Every time I get a new idea that doesn't fit in an existing region, I make a new one. Sometimes I see a nice map on the stex and it inspires me to make something, so I download it and make it into a region. Usually, only 1 tile in the region is partly developed, the rest still in SC4terraformer colors.

I play 1 region extensively, and some others like once a month.

    Four for me.

Each of my Bats/lots goes into two 'vanila' test regions (no NAM even, just the bare-bones plugins needed for the upload), one region has about 100,000 residents so I can test low stage Bats, and the other with about 1,000,000 residents so I can test the higher stage Bats.

Lastly, I have a full blown test region with large city tiles/large rural/industrial/urban and suburban and about 2M residents with a full (3.2GB) plugins folder to ensure that things grow correctly and that there are no conflicts prior to upload. New downloads from the STX/LEX also go in here.

The fourth region is the one I actually play :uhm:

Just the one active region, hence the population is now 25.5 million, I've worked on it for 3 years on and off now, either making new stuff or going back to older tiles and doing them up. When I run out of ideas (like now) I'll go back to some of my messier creations and tidy them up a little.

I have several regions which I haven't recently touched, or began to play but abandonned. I used to have, before CJing, have around 8-10 going at any one time. Now I have 3: Holt District, Windemere, Taschereau. Taschereau was featured in my original CJ for a while, but it has since dropped out of the CJ spotlight and became a random test region for me. Windemere and Holt District are what I play most often.

3 + test regions for NAM and stuff.

My most famous one has to be The Greater Terran Region, based of the famous Eaton map. Made a CJ/MD out of it by cluttering it with highways and skyscrapers.

One and only one. I edit the region myself to fit my imaginations so i don't need other region at this moment.

Two regions: One is a standard map, the other is a special region I made for creating The Sims 2 neighborhoods.

I have three major regions right now. One is differentiated from the others in that it uses Maxis Highways rather than RHW. Plus I have 4 cities under construction in Cities XL.

One active region with population of 530,000+ (my best region so far, but not yet reach CJ quality because of the layout. I also use it as a test region), one undeveloped region with no inhabitants at this moment (Feel very lazy to work on it anytime soon), one fully developed region with population of 1,057,000+, and those default maps. That's all of region that I have.

I only have one that I work on. Doing 2 at once seems crazy to me.:P

I echo NBAFAN1...I only work on one region at a time. I have the kind of personality in which I get distracted easily, and I hate stopping a project in order to work on something else. When I get interrupted, it drives me up a wall and nothing gets done the way I want it to be done.

Both of my regions are complete. All that's left to do is tinker with them, so I'll probably start a new one soon.
