The choice of textures seems wonky to me, I don't know why.

For a first cut, the textures are looking fantastic! I like the way that the brickwork will contrast with the lighter stone/facework. Art Deco is a great choice :)

Then first know why, then post.

Personally, tho, i'd somehow second what Zahrul said -  when buildings had both stone and brick cladding, stone, that was more expensive, was mostly used for ground floors, cornices, trims and small details - while bricks usually made up ther majority of the facade.

I'd therefore say to use one light brick texture for the walls where stone is now, and stone, maybe, for ground floor.

Art deco is a very good choice for style.

I agree the contrast gives the BAT more style and not just a bland, one-colored building. :thumb:

I don't like the color choice for the building. Maybe a light brown or a more desaturated brown as well as doing what francis said about the stone. Right now the bricks look like a poopier version of my high-schools brick, which is hard to do. Modeling still looks great though.

Coming together nicely. I have no doubt that this BAT will easily reach your meticulously high standards.

ps I'll address all of your comments next time I have an update.

Congrats to a wonderful BAT release! And I commend you for including a diagonal version, something I think should be done with all BAT releases.

A big thank you to everyone for all the support and nice comments. Thank you guys!!!

All the work that I've been doing has halted because of my academic obligations, but I do intend to finish all the things I've started. But in order to get back into the game, I had to do something to practice a bit again, so here is the result of my practice:

I do think water tower is a bit smaller than it should be on a building of this volume, so I'll alter it. A few more details and bit more tweaking than I'll be on the textures.

    Thank you Aaron and SkyscraperTowerBuilding.

The next previews are of a model with placeholder materials just to show what color schemes I'm planning for these. Oh, and I plan on making two versions of it, plus both of color versions will have their diagonal versions as well.

And thesse will be w2w on the back, lot size is 4x2 tiles. But the back side will have all of the elements as front so that this one can be a standalone as well.

Very nice building Vlasky so far ;)

Water tank could be most bigger in my opinion :)

And its maybe my eyes, but I think your roof was to extruded relative to the height of the windowspeople might bump head on the ceiling :D

I don't know if you understand what I want to explain :)  ?

    Kee it up :thumb: !!!

mattb325: Thank you. I got that idea after seeing in the TV show Damages a scene on a rooftop. It had angled a=edges :)

SkyscraperBuilding Tower: Thank you. As for reflecting surface/material, it's just a placeholder. Not in any way a final material.

_marsh_: :P :@ :O:P :P love you marshmellow with all of my tuscaloosa heart :P

Darknono35: Thank you. Water tower is very big as it is now. It might seem a bit on a smaller size because the roof surface is big 2x4 but it has about 3m in diameter and about 4-5 in height. I think that's as big as they get on top of a building. But when I add a few more details on the roof I hope it won't look so lonely and small :)  As for the sloped part of the roof top, it is in no way disturbing the floor height and here's the illustration to prove it :)

As for progress on the building, I think I've managed to reach desired look on all of the brick textures. Black metal material (cornice texture) needs to be tweaked a lot more, and also the material of the water tower (I think I'll have to make bitmap for it). Oh And storage rollup doors are something I'm happy with now. Apart from that everything else will change.
