Brisbane or Melbourne? I mean the in Melbourne. (The BAT I'm currently working on)

Ack, specify these things! :P

The garden is coming along splendidly. I'd recommend lightening it.

If you're looking for standalones, the Brisbane Square is a really odd one. Base is a bit distinctive though.

    Thank you all :)

I've made a couple of changes, but I won't post another shot -

    • I've desaturated the grass. Its still nice and lush green but not so bright and saturated as it was.
    • I separated the window arches and applied the texture separately. The grooves in the bricks were intersecting at the wrong height.
    • I've changed the banners, they are now black, sheer like silk, with Japanese motifs on them. I think it looks a bit classier :P
    • I rotated one of the trees, you could tell they were identical before.
    • You won't able to see but I added a front door. I forgot before!
    • I've added some roof join flashing onto the small square turret roof to match the other roofs.

I think that's it for now. I'll just keep going with the other sections. I might come back and revisit the paving in the gardens, its still a bit dark and saturated but its hard to make dark pavers without it being the saturated colour.

Oh, the lot size will be 6x13 (Big!)

    Thanks guys :)

With the roof, yes totally agree. It's just a placeholder really until I put all the roofs together and I'll do them all again and make them more cohesive.

With the walls though, that was pretty much it, not sure what else I can do? On the centre building I could probably add a bit more colour variation into the bricks. Possibly some more grime onto those two corner annexes. Any other suggestions?

If you're thinking about doing more Australian buildings and wanna stray from the East Coast, there is always Brookfeild place, Central Park and the Bankwest Tower over in Perth that'd make for some kickass BATting ;)

Also, if you've figured it out, how big of a lot were you planning for the Infinity tower? Just so I can plan around it :P 3x3? 4x4?

    Cheers Red!

    Just break your curiosity there:

    Brookfeild place

    Central Park Tower

But these two BATers are not active recently..Thus there's no time table for the BATs to be released.

I believe someone is already doing Brookfield Place, but the other two are up for grabs.

Not exactly, buddy. Central Park Tower is now on progress by scotty. :)

If you raise the minimum and maximum sampling per pixel to 4 and 64 respectively, it should get rid of some of the noise that's showing up on the wall in the shadow.

Didn't realize Central Park Tower was being done, that's awesome.

Omg I just moved to Perth from Canberra and yeah I see these three buildings every day as I've had the good fortune to move into South Perth/Como. I can see them at night from my unit and yeah I've been yearning for them in BAT so thankyou so much! I've tried getting into batting myself but im having a bit of difficulty getting the programs to work with my computer setup

Here's the glass finished... let me know what you think :)

PBGV - Thanks for that tip, I'm not sure if it helped very much though, should I increase it further? There's noise in the material maybe its actually the material rather than the sampling?

Possibly a bit lighter? Although to be fair the accuracy of this google colour may be a tad off, but otherwise perfect! From my view at the base of the tower the glass is greener but as I think you or someone else has said in other places, it looks different from above.
