I can't upload my dxdiag file. It says

The specified file dxdiag.exe could not be uploaded. Only files with the following extensions are allowed: txt.

You have to hit "Save All Information", which saves the dxdiag in a .txt file.

Anyone think that it's bad to choose "How many hours are in the beta again?" I have so much time to play the game that I didn't know what that meant and assumed that it meant you have large amounts of time to play it.

My guess is to see if your system is good enough for the beta.

They want a representative sample of different hardware so they can root out bugs. IE: People with marginal machines just at the min specs, people with awesome gaming machines, etc. So the DxDiag allows them to pick a good cross-section of hardware.

I'm definitely going to give this a try. Despite everything we've seen it's hard to form a true opinion on the game without trying it first. Who knows, maybe I'll like it. I want to like it.

Not registering for the beta due to the above points about Origin being required, but I do look forward about hearing feedback about it from those of you that enter into it. That may or may not decide whether I bite the bullet and purchase this game. The beta doesn't have any disclosure requirements, right?

Well, I do have an orgin account, in part because they made it a part of my SWTOR login. I'll bite, if just to see if they're mantra that all they are doing is good is worth it. Heck, getting a chance to possibly have some feedback offically considered even if only in regards to the issues they are trying to test would be a nice change.
