One thing I noticed that others may have not is that you cannot click on the images for full size anymore.

When you click on a photo the browser will darken but no image will be displayed.

A good workaround for now is to link to the image's URL to view in full size or resize the image to a maximum of 800 pixels wide.

I have also noticed this. I am using Chrome.

It works on the latest FireFox, just scroll down to the bottom of the page, the image will appear. Of course, my browser is likely different then yours, so lets see. I also noticed that in the Also tagged with.... the text was bigger than it was and the names look like 'Guest_<username>_*' Otherwise, it works fine. Any ideas?

Something I've noticed, somewhat like what Haljackey mentioned about the photos for full size, it when you click "Sign In" from the black nav bar, the screen goes dark but the menu doesn't appear, nor is it at the bottom of the page. The simple workaround is click the green banner where it says sign-in just below the forum banner.

Ah, I guess you're right. The image is there, but it moves to the bottom of the page. This did not occur before the update.

-I am using the latest version of Firefox, if that makes any difference.

@A Nonny Moose: I think we are. This is 7.3.4 because of the recent software upgrade to IP.Board 3.3.3.

IMO, the suffix Beta is proper as we do not have IE compatibility and several minor issues. But we are en route to a 7.3.4, the admins and Dirk are working on it.

I think the (7).3.3 is just a play on the fact that ST when from IBP3.x.x to IPB3.3.3, and it was not a full upgrade from ST7 to ST8.

Yes, it was not a full update, but IMO, I would like to see this be ST 8.x.x (maybe 8.3.3) because of the server upgrades which made the site a lot faster. I think we should revamp the idea of a Modds and Downloads section to separate Custom Content and Oversized Items (e.g, the NAM) as well as tools like Ilive's Reader. I dunno if this is possible with IPB 3.3.3, but we may try.

Most of the layout issues should be resolved now. If you're still seeing weird things, please force refresh (shift-F5) and/or clear your cache and start browsing again.

If anyone is having issues uploading or updating their STEX files, please report your experience here. Please be as detailed as possible:

- what file are you trying to update?

- which part are you trying to update (screenshot? main zip? other?)

- what error messages, if any, appears?

- how long before the error occurs?

When using the links embedded in the features on the main page instead of it redirecting to the CJ entry (in the case of CJ's) it instead takes you to the CJ list main page.

The site is totally screwed up. I can't use this site anymore with windows vista. The layout looks strange and i cant post pictures in the cj section.

Hope this will get fixed soon.

What web browser are you using? It is known that the site was displaying incorrectly in Internet Explorer. Try clearing your cache, Dirktator (webmaster) said it should be back to normal. If that doesn't work try another browser.

Sadly, Simtropolis remains pretty much unuseable and unnavigable with IE, as much of the forum simply does not display, and what little that does display often shows as a broken formatting jumble.

At least I can still peek around and browse on my smartphone.

I am seeing these as well in IE, FF & Chrome... cache refreshed and all that. And in the various forums, it gives a number of views but not of posts. And, have links to any thread been changed?
