Wow, I can't imagine how long it must have taken NOB to replace all those FSH files. I happen to like the dirt (a little different texture would have been better but I know a lot of people will be glad to have the grass option and get rid of the dirt. Any way to release this to the ST4 STEX ?

Hey, guys! I just found this thread by chance, and I must say what y'all are findin' just blew me away! These creations made by the Japanese are just incredible. Armandeus, you're like a Private Eye, able to find what no one else can, and I must say, I'm so thrilled there are people like ya here on ST, findin' things that we can only dream of. Amazin'! Now, I've been through this whole entire thread, and I have a few requests: On page 6 of this here thread, those boats just look so beautiful and magnificent. Also, on page 9, there was this military-lookin' car ferry port. That thing just blew me away, and I was caught slack-jawed when I found it. Now, I have one question: Is there any way, ANY WAY whatsoever, that these beautiful creations can be found on the internet at present time? I've looked all over, clickin' this link and that one, 41.gif and it's frustrated me so that I just can't find 'em! 8.gif Please, help me track down these awesome creations! I just GOTTA have 'em!

JUST WANTED TO SAY, I have been there and am familiar with the japanese symbols. I looked all over that site for about 30 min. now. Are the japanese batters children? every lot, except this fishing village above, looked horribly unattractive.

I looked through 28 pages in their exchange and just got... well,...14.gif ill.

Yep, Muzz; I looked at those, multi-colored, new wave, psychodelic, not even close to real, cargo ships. made me dizzy46.gif

Yes, I've noticed that a lot of the items on that site are jpg pictures only - no download option. Are we missing something?

Unless you are Japanese yourself, which you clearly aren't, don't judge them. Japan has a highly complicated culture in which honour is very important. You calling them children is way out of line, and astonishingly rude. Look through all 44 pages of this thread, and tell me again that everything (except this fishing village above) looks horribly unattractive. Just like on SimTropolis there are many Lots on Japanese sites that aren't that good, but if you make an effort you'll find amazing work by great Japanese artists that could easily compete with the best SimTropolis artists. Many of them have actually started posting on ST since the beginning of this thread because many people showed their appreciation and respect for their work. Don't ruin that! 27.gif

As for everyone keeping this thread alive, many many thanks, especially to Eddiem. And for all Japanese Batters who may read this: thanks ever so much for many beautifull creations that lighten up my SC4 gaming experience!18.gif

Regards,

You, like everyone, are entitled to your opinion. Your  posting, in a thread which has 44 pages and close on 205000 views,  was nothing more than a bad-mannered insult.
Sorry Muzz, the cruise ship site has been off-line since mid 2004.
Thanks again to the people who appreciate this thread.
Eddie

AHHHHH what?????/

I asked a question. how is that an insult?

ARE they kids? you know young adults? they look like they are.......TO ME, IMO.
How can my opinion be an insult?

Did not judge anyone?!?!?!? I critiqued them. I know what judge means. to a Hebrew, it is very different than you just used it. You cannot judge someone, without also passing a judgement or penalty. I did not go to that website and cause a havoc, or punishment on the Japanese!

By the way I am VERY honest(this is a must for me). I did say; I liked the fishing village. It looks very authentic and I DL'ed it.

So sorry, if you all think I was rude. I will say nada more.

if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all45.gif, try going through every single link in Armandeus' Japanese links.  and you'll find all kind's of Awesome BAT's, there's a Awesome Oil Platform a phew pages back in this thread  by SOMY, it's Awesome magnificent work, the Japanese BAT castles in this thread are breath taken, it's obvious you don't have culture in your blood or have even opened up your mind to others cultures and beliefs, closed minded people make me furious!..

thx have a nice day Craig
