Seems there is a problem with the recently released Burj Al Arab by ks, for the building will not be displayed on its lot in game. The SC4Lot and SC4Desc files which were packaged together are mismatched, and given the way it is modded, the BAT model file will not be used. Unless ks makes an updated download package, you will have to use the Lot Editor or the ILive Reader to place the BAT onto its lot.

Great to hear KS fixed the problem. I was holding off on getting that until I got word.

And SOMY is just fantastic. If my wish for SC5 were really being worked on seriously by EA, my wish would include having SOMY on the artist team. Does anyone have a link to SOMY's bio page, or knows what he/ she does for a living? It would be interesting to know how many of our high-end BAT artists are actually in 'The Business' for a living, such as architecture, engineering design and such.

Um.....has anyone noticed this on SOMY's site and......wow..... Check it out!

This puts almost every Sim ship I have ever seen in a Simcity game to shame. Now if only he can make, like...a big cruise ship docking station/port and/or tourist attraction and include the other ship he did with this one....   I can't wait till he gets THIS one done!!!   Work fast, Somy! And keep doin' a FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Well that big batch of ships he did last time came with docks as well so maybe he'll do the same

Hi everyone, did I get your attention?

I'd like you all to check out my new moderator thread and post your ideas on how you think the BAT - Open Discussion could be made better in general, and the Japanese BAT aspect in particular.  What's working well, what's not working well, if there should be any changes, what changes should be made, if there shouldn't be any changes, etc. No ideas are off limits.  If you've ever day dreamed about, "what would I do if I was in charge" then this is the time to speak up.  I'd like to get as much input as possible, to make the BAT - Open Discussion as good as it can be for everyone.
