Hey Choco,
What's left to say, besides "BRAVO!"
Great mosaics, the transition from forest to swamp, then from agriculture to city.
Just brilliant!
The only sad note, is the corpse chalkline in the mansion backyard! (a little problem with crime perhaps??)
Loved the story about the giant rabbit, must be the Were-Rabbit... 2.gif
Just call Anti Pesto! 18.gif
BTW, it's a very nature oriented city, there's even horses on the school grounds!

Keep it up Choco,
Take care!

Another great update! The newspaper was quite impressive and interesting to read. The region is equally impressive... that shocked me when I saw plant life in the river... I guess I didn't know a modd could do that. Haha, I love the name of the new region, Wilminkton. Truly unique.

Very nice update. Great Mosaics, althou I have no time to examine them scrutinizely I will later on (I got to run to fetch my kids from kindergarten).

Great river and nice to see that it is so clear that you can see the plants on the bottom.

Great newspaper! I'm glad that Lord Scarlet walked out on President Grocon. Green Depra doesn't need any crap from anybody! (LOL at the whole argument!)

Anyway, nice mosaics as well! I look forward to the next update!29.gif

I love that mix of creek, country town, farms, forest and small city in one. Fantastic work with this one. The farms and trees go in especially well. And I thought I might tell you that I'm working on Lane Cove again (you know how I get bored working on real life stuff for too long) and it's the CBD this time. Thought you might want to know. Anyways, great update as always and can't wait for my signs I made for you being featured. If you check my highway thread, you can see I'm now making roundabout signs and soon intersection direction signs too.

I love the feeling of your towns, it seems so quiet and a nice place to live. You're a source of inspiration and you always surprising me on how you pay so much attention to details.

Well, I haven't done this in a while, and the last huge wave of these was on page 10! But I thought it was time again to offer a limited 10 Citizen passes!

    Citizen-Ceremony-banner.jpg

The people these are awarded too become citizens and official residents of Green Depra. Now, there was several other people who I also wanted to give these awards too, but I had to cut off at somewhere. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten anyone, you'll be next in line to become citizens.

Congrats to the following people, and I hope you enjoy being residents!

    PersonalComments-Banner1.jpg

Shadow_Assassin Oh yes. Ha! I'd like to see you try! 3.gif Nah, that would be pretty funny... I would then make a mosaic with 30! 18.gif

Tracker Ah, I didn't want that in today's update. The name belongs to the country, I don't think they would change that. But its good to know how you feel, I guess it all depends on how Gold Depra handles the next month or so. Thanks! Cheers mate!

Magpieshooter Yeah, I never knew you were in the SCJU until recently, but its good to know. Thanks for the comment. Haha, I don't know, nothing can beat the Python killer rabbit! Haha. 18.gif Cheers mate!

Mikeaut1 Thanks for the comment mate! I really appreciate it!

Sloppet Hey sloppet, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks!

Threestooges I'm glad you thought so, I agree, I guess it largely depends if Gold Depra is willing to accept them or not. I guess time will tell! Oh why yes! Haha, yeah, that happen far too often in this suburb!

Bat Thanks Bat, glad you liked it! Congrats on the 200 posts too!

Terrymunweihao Thanks for the comments mate! I'm really glad that you liked it so much! I've always liked those walls, and of course the streets! Thanks mate!

Nardo69 Yeah, I just noticed the other day that I don't even make normal shots anymore! Ha, I do them subconsciously! I really like those fences, they really improve farmlands and make them look oh so much more realistic and complete. Hehe, I couldn't resist throwing in flora between the marrast embankments. Thanks for the comments mate. Cheers!

Goldfish4209 Thanks, you need photoshop to do them really. There aren't any missing for me, but they do load in odd orders, so if the whole page doesn't load then there can be some missing. Reloading the page should fix it, hopefully! Cheers.

Goin2Chicago Okay, finally got that bloody link working! Sorry about that, but I've checked it and it works. I'm glad that you liked it mate! Click here! Thanks for the comments!

Jarno miedema Jarno! I have to say how much I love your avatar, Adama is a genius! Thanks for your comments mate. And Chaumont always seem to feature in the headlines across the world, I guess its pretty exciting! LOL Thanks, I would love to see Green Depra in the Empire's best paper! Cheers mate.

Cowcorn Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Mrbisonm Hey! Thanks for popping by, I appreciate those comments from such a prominent CJer. I'm really glad you liked it! Cheers!

Zelgadis Haha, Well, I'm guilty of upping the contrast in photoshop. But I guess I use a lot of colourful mods and buildings too, so that has a huge affect too. Cheers mate.

Darmok Thanks mate! Well, yeah, they have problems with drunks in Wilminkton! Haha, I didn't even think of that while making it, but I will definitely pass the word onto Green Deprovian Authorities about Anti Pesto. Hehe, Gromit will fix the pest problem! Horse riding is a favourite pass time for the kids of Wilminkton!

vester_DK Thanks! Huh, I didn't know you could do that, I'll have to look into that. I'm glad you've been following and I hope to see you pop by again.

SC4 meister DA MEISTER!! WOOT!! Its brilliant to have you back mate! 39.gif39.gif Thanks for the comments, and the welcome! Cheers!

Micah Yeah, it's a modified version of Gizmo's Water mod, which I would give you a link to (its on his site) but I can't find it. I will look and try to get back to you. Thanks for the comments mate, I'm really glad you liked it!

Sagrel Hey! Thanks for the comments, I appreciate them!

Nik-nik Thanks for popping by, I'm glad you are so interested. Oh yes, they invest millions to keep their water crystal clear! Oh and say hi to your kids for me! Cheers!

Cityhawk I agree! Fight the power! Scarlet doesn't let Grocon walk all over him. Thanks mate!

Lakeyboy Thanks, I liked it too, I really wanted to see if I could easily blend between the different simcity styles of towns, and I think it worked quite well in the end, cheers! Lane Cove! Woot! Great stuff, I was always a fan of that CJ! Oh I will HAVE to have a look at those signs, I love those roundabout signs, they are great! Oh and I have already placed your signs in GD (many times!) I just haven't gotten around to taking pictures of those areas yet. I will soon though. Cheers mate!

Wouanagaine Hey! Welcome to the CJ, and thankyou very much for the comments. I like adding details, its why I place simcity, and I'm humbled to hear it would give you some kind of inspiration. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Welcome to page 31. There will be an update towards the end of this week. I just started back at school so things are a little buzy.

    Cheers! 9.gif

What???  Cézarest's communiqué to Green Depra hasn't posted since 03/12/2006??? 6.gif  International scandal! 18.gif

Oh well, so I have to catch up... no biggy, just another rant! 3.gif

Wilminkton Swamps:  When it comes to nature shots and detailing, you're genius!  Those trees combined with those water plants, mosses, and such look SO realistic... in fact, that is the most realistic Simcity 4 shot I've ever seen for swamp/forest land... 25.gif a HUGE congrats! 9.gif  (Btw... it was awfully nice of you to respond to my rant in kind... 43.gif)

Page 29:  Check out your popularity... one full page of comments! 19.gif

And page 30!  I can't believe I've been on for the ride since page 6... 2.gif

Next update, opening pic... cool Photoshop effects to add the reflection of the sun off barn rooves and such!  Pretty awesome... 16.gif

Newspaper: Lots of hot air is being blown in parliament... Green Depra SHOULD join the SCJU as a full member, I say... and a housing boom... always good for the economy, I say... and those giant rabbits... what a horrible accident, I say... and pretty nice weather in store, I say... and those are quite impressive ads, I say... 19.gif

Wilminkton: Beautiful slope full of redwoods sweeps down to the farmland, a few houses, then canoe down the stream to the lighthouse! 48.gif  Beautiful!  Second shot - a cool kinda-rural school, houses, a hop across the stream... more beautiful, rolling farmland... and redwoods! 36.gif  And then back to the town again 47.gif... absolutely AWESOME use of the seawalls... looks so cool! 16.gif  And a widened Main St. sidewalk!  Interesting idea... hmm... *will use that in Cézarest* 22.gif

Then a whole load of comments!

Resident certificates! Oh, oh!  More residents! 39.gif Cool! 10.gif  I know how they feel! 44.gif  Congrats to all the recipients! 29.gif

That's all for now, bye! 48.gif

thanks for the link. i've actually been to that site before but never paid any attention to those lots. i guess you just made them look really good.

i hope someday that i'll be a citizen of green debra! *looks towards sky as light shines on me*

i think a region i'm working on will be a CJ one day but i'll have to figure all the stuff out first and if it ever does become a cj or if i ever even have a cj then you'll be the first citizen just because of how great yours is. i hope that doesn't sound like too much sweet talk. lol.

The reson why you didn't know I was in the SCJU until recently, is because I only joined recently.

Oh and thanks for the award, I am proud to be a Green Depra citizen... I suppose if you did join the SCJU, I could apply for an embassy in Green Depra (and vice versa).

    Thanks mate!

It is a great idea to have citizens like them. Nice idea.

I like your CJ. It is so unique, and it has a mood. This greenish, and lovely.. I keep wondering.

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Hey man, this is looking excellent, as you already know!  I'm still drooling from your mosaic on the previous page.  I also love your suburbs, I got my inspiration to use those UK-suburbia homes from you, and they have turned out very well, so thank you!  You have also shown that there is no such thing as too much green!

Thank you so much for the honor. As for this being the place of my first post, I still must say I don't think I would put it anywhere else. From the beginning of this CJ I knew something was special about it, and it hasn;t lost a thing with time. In fact, I believe it is one of the few to change such that it re-made the first page of it. I hope to remain a citizen here for a long time to come, and I must contact a real estate agent and find a nice spot to settle, perhaps Blackberry Inlet, or maybe Green River (near Darmok Hill). Again, (as always) looking forward to more.
