Since no one has replied to you, my worst has to be Tokyoevillo, one i created almost half a week after ordering the game when i ahdn't got RH, the patch or any DLs. Frankly, Tokevillo was very small, had a pop of 5000 and for that titch of a pop had a large hospital and a highway. But after that i have not had any failiures but some average cities.

My worst city must be my first one.
It was a small town with somthing like 1000 pop or maybe more, I dont really remember.
So it was a small town with large polease, fire and hospital, one school and one college,
oil power plant and alot, but ALOT of parks.

as you can guess that town was made for doom.3.gif

Yes, quite. I see you must have been quite a newbie. That reminds me of Treepolis. Ach... So many parks even an environmentalist would scream.

My worst city was the first one I ever made, it was way in the red, and also very laggy because I was using a computer under the minimum requirements.

Every new city I create gives off a worse death rattle than the previous one I kill.  My regions are collections of dying husks waiting for the dread obliviate button.  Despite my drive to try and try again, I just don't have the knack for this game.

my worse city would be Admunson, it is overbuilt, no planning whatsoever, I used countless cheats on it, but it does have a pop of around 700,000 on a medium map without useing pop cheats.

I have had several bad cities. Let's see, what was my worst one? ...

Hmm, I can't remember. I usually destroy cities because I don't like the look of them. I do remember having gone so far negative with the budget that I got kicked out of office, twice (two seperate cities). I think I built too many civic buildings with not enough people.

City2TheMax, this thread is very old, the last post being from over a year ago. It's generally frowned upon to revive dead topics.

I've never been kicked-out, though my first cities, in Fairview, were awful. I was under spec, and I kept having the graphics bug with the triangles, which destroys stuff. Nasty. My main 'city' was a huge griddy farm area, with I'd guess about 10k pop at the most. It's gone now.

I thought this was so awesome when I made it...but of course, that was when I first started playing, and only had SC4 Vanilla with no mods or add-ons.  Now I know better...somewhat...:

TheHillySuburbs.jpg

Notice the 60 degree grade street at the top near the freeway exit, and the four houses around it that have no visible way to get to the street.  Then take a closer look at that freeway.  What a drive, eh?  LOL...Also, take a look on the left side of the picture at the obvious one line of trees that I made, and the farm that it ruins...14.gif

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.

Anything before I came here. I used to use a 5x5 grid in every single city. No realism at all, and the highest population I ever got with this method was about 65,000.

I've got a city that looks a lot like masochist's called Particular.  I still play it sometimes and I'm working on making it look actually half-way decent.  It's mostly rural, though it's been suburbanized quite a bit, with a population of about 8,000 (if I remember right) on a medium tile.  There's a big part of town that's on the side of a steep hill, and all the houses are weirded out as a result.

It's probably not my worst city though--that honor would go to my very first city, Winden.  I followed the advisors and as a result, drove it into the ground.  The terraforming is just awful.  Don't have any pics unfortunately.3.gif

Mine would have to be the time I was using a Large Size map to make a big city, with small neighbor connections. My large city grew to about 850,000 pop, had great healthcare, jobs, education and saftey. One of my medium size neighbor connections however, I guess kept commuting back and forth to the big "Capital" city and conditions here were HORRENDOUS! No health, no saftey, riots and fires all over the darn place. It was kind of cool to see the chaos, and the horrid conditions here just went to make my capital city all the better.

My worst cities are done on purpose... I'll usually have a nice city but next to it will be like a block of dirty industry, a big landfill, a cheap powerplant and like five houses. This type of city always looks terrible and just about always loses money, but I don't actually play it, it's only a place to put garbage and pollution.

Take any of my post-simtropolis cities and i'd say they were all pretty bad. Sometimes I just built to fill space and the cities look terribles, but my worst cities are the ones i've put EFFORT into and they still look like sicked up chicken curry.

My worst city is usually the one I call "Grodeburg" which is basically wall to wall medium industry to draw the dirty industry away from my sims.

Well the worst tile in Brenntia is Harrow, it started off so well, then i made an industrial estate and now its the most abandoned district of Brenntia, 12,000 rail users pass right through the district, without even sparing a thought for Harrow.

My worst city had 70000 people in it and thats when my traffic got out of control and the pollution grew really big even with the clean air ordiance on but that did  not help so i deleted my city and restarted it but my education and health did not take effect till the first year passed and every house were just shacks commerce was dull and the industrial was just a bunch of black buildings so what is wrong and i had to reinstall it because a modification corrupted one of the DAT files when i reinstalled it was just perfect until i put just a single modification in the plugin folder and that was the $25,000,000  one and when i restarted a new city thats when the education and health sucked even with the large medical center and every educational building at the start and the police and fire was all over it and had a heap of parks but it still did not develop but the demand was at zero just with a minimal of Residential Commercial and industrial zoned so i just forgot about it and left the game alone till i can work out how to fix this really annoying problem.26.gif

Any answers please  tell me.

My absolute worst city ever is New Bernikou. With 17,000 sims, a far spread of farming, and unkempt traffic, this city was either the place you'd get lost in, or you'd get stuck in a three day traffic jam. Either way, you'd be furious with the mayor. Now, due to the extensive amounts of farming and extreme shortage of monthly income, proper watering just simply wasn't possible. When you thought I did a bad enough job on my city, then came when I catered to My Sim. He had one of the 3 rich houses there, and that caused my expenses to go through the ROOF. With complete disregard for my coffers, I went ahead and made him a nice medical clinic, right next door, a school, and a park to top it off! With loads of poor houses leaving the place, it was obviously undesirable to Sims! After building many faming communities in it, making a connection to Tungsten City, I gave up and pressed the obliterate button.
