    i have a issue with this map it wont render the map even when ive closed the other programs before i even start SC4 all it does is a little hard drive activity and that is it. Any help please to rectify this problem.

Yet though i have a pentium3 866MHz 265 MB of memory with 4096 MB of pagefile on F:\ and i use the on board 810E video card on my 1999 gigabyte GA6wmmc7-1 motherboard with latest drivers and its playable until it reaches a population of 70,000-90,000 then the fps plummets to down to unplayable but will it work on my video upgrade in the next few months to a XFX GeForce 5200 PCI with 256MB of memory with latest drivers and i hope that don't have to go through what you people are suffering. But i can run a resource hungry games on here with no problem like unreal tournament 2004 demo 30-35 fps still and 25 moving with everything on medium except it takes ages to load to the map but not bad for on board eh even unreal tournament game of the year edition almost 50 even in full movement with the chain gun showering the map with bullets and the settings are on high screen resolution 1024x 786 32bit colour setting on its no problem just churning alone nicely. But it runs like a rocket on my 2006 technical college computers and they where a 2.4GHz with 512MB of memory and running on board ati card nice 70-80 fps with everything on max.   3. Repeated crashes

    The game worked half a year ago. After that I got a virus, which is not removed, but game performance was never restored quote> Bingo i worked out your problem its that darn virus in your system its causing all these access violations in the memory if you can get it removed some how your game will return to full performance with no side effects i just need the name of the virus like Win32.Name of virus like that or it could be a trojan causing all the problems.So if you can get the name of the virus and ill search for it on symantec virus database on their site and work out a way of removal.   5. Repeated crashes

    By the looks yo it you will need more memory and what is your system specs so i can work it out even further and have you got all the video card's settings on even the advanced ones but i cant think of what they are that simcity4 does not support and it spits the dummy when it detects them enabled so try to turn off anti-aliasing those sort of settings and it will hopefully work if not well i don't even have a clue what the hell is going on.     Nice theres space to build my ancestors town of Edinburgh on the east coast river i would give that a 50/10 but only a 10/10 is the highest but otherwise a very good job on it.

    My worst city had 70000 people in it and thats when my traffic got out of control and the pollution grew really big even with the clean air ordiance on but that did not help so i deleted my city and restarted it but my education and health did not take effect till the first year passed and every house were just shacks commerce was dull and the industrial was just a bunch of black buildings so what is wrong and i had to reinstall it because a modification corrupted one of the DAT files when i reinstalled it was just perfect until i put just a single modification in the plugin folder and that was the $25,000,000 one and when i restarted a new city thats when the education and health sucked even with the large medical center and every educational building at the start and the police and fire was all over it and had a heap of parks but it still did not develop but the demand was at zero just with a minimal of Residential Commercial and industrial zoned so i just forgot about it and left the game alone till i can work out how to fix this really annoying problem. Any answers please tell me.
