Tropical Cyclones are much more common than earthquakes down here in Australia. Especially up north. Not so much here in Canberra, which is a few hundred metres above sea level, a few hundred kilometres inland, and reasonably far south.

I've lived in a few places with interesting weather, but whenever I'm actually there the weather's never interesting. It's interesting before and interesting after, but never during. Except the 100-year-flood I experienced in Toledo a few years back.

Whilst this has apparently been reported as not being genuine and instead an attempt to win tickets to something, I still found it rather amusing

Also @ Duke, I believe the cops are supposed to issue people fines if they're driving too slow on the freeway because without a valid reason because it affects traffic flow and whatnot
