I got in a swimming pool today.

There is only only public pool in Stamford. And no one ever uses it since everyone who lives anywhere near it can afford to have their own swimming pool or belong to a swim club. Hell, the entire park that it's in is never used by anyone.

Nonono, Stop & Shop is a chain of grocery stores. It's not like Wal-Mart.

Grocery stores in the US tend to be regional, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have Stop & Shop in Florida. Up here the other major chains are A&P and Grade A/Shop Rite. If you go into New York they don't have Shop Rite but they do have Foodtown and Key Food. Other ones I could name offhand are Giant, Food Lion, and Safeway, but they don't have those up here.

I usually buy milk and breakfast cereal from the grocery store next door. The rest of the time I go to the supermarket.
