Great work so far! With so much advice from the community and abundant reference material of the building combined with your amazing BAT skill and talent, this has the potential to become an all-time STEX classic for sure. We all know you can do it, so I am sure following this thread will be fun.

@unclesahm: Thanks, 605 Third Ave orthogonal version is ready, now, I'm working on the sidewalks for the diagonal version 

 

So, I've done an render of the North Tower at zoom 5, with new Aluminium texture. I think the Aluminium pillars are too glossy, I should down the value of the reflection . And I've a lot of work for the roof again

The model is already very heavy, and the render took approximatively 1 hour for this bilding, I don't know if I'll can do the complex in one bloc it's only my regret . The render of the Two main building crash 3dsmax

 

The inside of the Hall must be modelised too, with escalator for the galerias who was be located under the plaza, bushes etc...  . Other update very soon

Are you maniac seriously planning to export this behemoth in one piece? I doubt that will be practical. Besides, having both towers inside one LOD box will result in a huge screen area being occupied by the WTC lot, even if the mouse cursor points to some place between the towers. I guess you'll need at least three pieces: North Tower, South Tower, and Base - maybe more.

 

It's not a problem, though - when you make the smaller buildings on the base, you can add a dummy tower model to the scene to cast the shadow on the smaller building, but the small building can be exported individually. Jasoncw can tell you more about this technique. This should make for more manageable scenes and faster exports, and the final result won't differ too noticeably from a one-piece render.

You may be able to make close-fitting custom LODs and still export it as a single model.  If export times become a problem or you run out of memory, I would be happy to export it for you.

@PBGV103: Thanks buddy , if you can export the final BAT it's can be cool to have all in one   . I've 16GB of memory but under the control panel only 8 GB are usable I don't know why... or if it's possible to change that. I think that can resolve this problem of time too

 

About the WTC, I've begun the South Tower. I haven't picture at this time but I'll post several soon . Some stuff hve been added at the North Tower since the last update

 

So, today I prepare the 605 Third Ave, on the diagonal version I have a small bug only on the Z4 and Z5. Maybe you can help me on this one. I don't remember if it's the BAT or the lot editor who's need an update to fix that bug :/

I don't think this bug appear with the LOD ...

 

When I've done the modding under PIMx, the small thumbail of the building was correct...

I would say it is a LOD problem, I think it's using the same id numbers from the road texture in the game. That's why you see a road texture on your model. Try to export a new LOD and see if that will work.

Yup, that problem is covered by Jason's It should definitely be possible to solve. Which is good because it would be a shame if that building didn't make it into the game.

It's Okay about this texture bug. I've missed to instal the texture fix made by Maxis. It's an conflict between Maxis stuff and new BAT 

Now, I try an other export of the 605 Third ave, the building could be upload during the next week.

I've corrected some mistakes on the Hall and the top of the Twins Towers. I haven't done render at this moment, soon
