Dream mode of transportation? Um, that I do not know. It would be fun using Elon Musk's Hyperloop, however.

If Mars becomes habitable, will you move there?

Mr. President?  Gee, I have no idea.  I'd hope Tony could bring me something nice, like an unmolested, low-mileage, rust-free Honda Prelude Type SH in some kind of electric blue.  That'd be wonderful.

How many times have you moved homes in your life?  Do you have a favorite home?  Please explain.

I have lived in one spot the first eighteen years of my life, then seven various apartments and dorms in college.  Then moved to Los Angeles after that, and have lived in four apartments since then, the last of which I have been in for thirteen years.  There were things I liked about all of them, so picking a favorite would be difficult - I like the afternoon sunlight in the kitchen and dining area of my current apartment; I liked the balcony on the one before it, even though the laundry room machines always seemed to be on the fritz.  My first apartment had a quaint little pool and patio area that I was adjacent to, and it was very tranquil (and in retrospect, a very simpler life).  There was an apartment that I was in for my junior and senior year of college, where I had my drafting table next to a window overlooking a nice street view.  Certainly made those long hours of working on projects more bearable.

What was the last black-and-white movie you've seen?

"Schindler's List" on one of the cable movie channels.  It was released in 1993, but shot primarily in black and white to give the artistic effect of a historical documentary.  Previously, I had fully watched "The Battle of Algiers" (1966), which similarly gave a black and white documentary look at France's bitter struggle against nationalist terrorism in colonial Algeria...that movie has much to say about current troubles in the Middle East.  The El Rey Network had a Japanese rubber-monster marathon a week or so ago starting with the Americanized version of "Gozilla, King of the Monsters!" (1956).

My favorite black and white movie is "A Night to Remember" (1958), which dramatizes the infamous sinking of RMS Titanic.  What is your favorite black and white movie?

The Seven Samurai.  It is every bit as epic as its reputation, and it moved like mad, a runtime of something like 3 hours felt like less than half that time.  I watched it with my wife back in college before we got married.  She wasn't planning on watching it, there were some other things she said she'd rather do, but as the movie went on it became more and more irresistible.  We got up to the intermission and she looked at me with her eyes wide and was like, "THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING."  Kurosawa Akira was a total visionary.  I read an article somewhere else that this was one of, if not THE first place where there is an opening action sequence that serves only to introduce the main character and has nothing to do with the plot of the whole rest of the movie.  Just an incredible movie from start to finish.  Casablanca would be a close second.  There are so many moments and lines from that movie that are quoted and referenced now, I don't think that anyone can really appreciate its influence until they watch it.  It also was quite a face-paced movie, streaking through its runtime much more quickly than it felt.  Both are black and white, old movies, and both are vastly superior to just about everything else coming out today.

What newer movies do you think are going to hold up well over time?  Why do you think so?

Newer movies ? Well , as I,m a fan of Sci-Fi / Futuristic movies . I think movies like the comic book / super hero kinda movies will hang for a while . Because they reach out to all ages and have a lot of action and the special effects are superb these days . Plus Disney bought out Lucas Films and Marvel , so I feel they have big plans .

Same question as above to the next person .

Hard to say.  Maybe the Hunger Games 'Trilogy' ( I know, it's 4 movies, but 3 books).

Have you ever lived in the opposite hemisphere than the one you are currently living in?

Game, movie, and TV show OSTs (without vocals), as well as a decent variety of rock, punk, '90s rap, guitar stuff, and occasionally some electronic or J-pop music.

What's your opinion about the flood of superhero movies that have come out in the past several years?

Well , I've been much more active here lately than previously . I use to just lurk around , browsing the forums and downloading the great custom content available here . Simtropolis has been helping me through a very difficult time in my life lately . The community has been a wonderful place to hang out and have a good time . Simcity 4 has been my best friend and it's hard to adjust to disabilities , believe me .

What kind of custom content do you find most valuable to SC4 and why ? Most used by me would be various CS $ ,CS $$ and the SPAM of course .

I think BATs/buildings are the most essential to SC4.  Slope mods and maps and traffic network innovations are all moot without the buildings that make up a city; no buildings, no city, no need for anything else.  So BATs are the most valuable of all custom content, at least to me.

Specifically, though, BATs are to each person's taste; some people like skyscrapers, others like farms.  So within the broad category of BATs, it's difficult to discern what is valuable.  However, I do think that anything that adds variety to what you already have in your plugins folder is a good thing; variety makes our cities shine in-game, so anything that adds to the possibilities of what the simulation will grow/build on any given lot is golden to me.

Which movie star do you absolutely hate?  Or rather, which movie star does everyone seem to love, yet you cannot fathom why?

Probably Tom Cruise.

Keeping that going, is there a famous person in general (pop music star, actor, rich business person... anything but politicians) you just cannot stand?

I could make a long list of folk I'm tired of hearing about in the news but right now Donald Trump is at the top of the list.

The time of year that I like the most , Summer . And why , because it's warm (less arthritis flare ups) , cookouts and outdoor activities . Not to mention , air conditioning  is cheaper than heating costs . At least where I live it is .

What zones (commercial , residential or industrial) do you like working with in Simcity ? And why ?

Hm, probably commercial, I like to build plazas and parks around them, and I think that there are a high number of amazing looking commercial BATs.  That helps, too.

I didn't dress up and I didn't wish for dressing up as I hate this "festival". It ain't very popular over here tho. (Didn't see a single group of kids wandering around for sweets that evening)

Is it popular in your country?

It definitely is, unfortunately. I spent it over at a friend's place playing games all day/night. We only had one trick-or-treater show up so I just gave them a piece of candy out of the guy's kitchen.

What do you think of scary movies?

None. I'm a Bookwyrm and usually dissapointed with movies - I don't go to cinema anymore. (last time I went was 10 years ago....)

Like cinemas?

Nope , I don't care for them much . Cost too much and the concessions are off the charts IMO . I'd rather wait for movies to come out on DVD . With a good sound system and decent TV , movies can be just as enjoyable as at the cinema and you can eat and drink what you want .

Since we seem to be somewhat into movies . What was the best Action/Adventure movie you have recently watched ?

One of my favorites, Russ Meyer's 1965 exploitation flick Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

If Hollywood were going to make a biopic of your life, who would the perfect actor be to play you, and why?  (Physical appearance, voice, je ne sais qua, etc.)
