Hmmm....

1) Education will replace sports/entertainment as  the thing people care most about

2) Decisions made by reason rather than shrillness

3) Significant investment in sustainable high tech including space travel

What do you think I left off the list?

In addition to those, these:

4) Support to help people get out of the vicious cycle of poverty

5) Focus on the needs of the average person rather than the profit of large companies and corporations

6) More attention paid to the care of the environment.

Do you think (electronic) tablets are silly devices, given that phones can do everything they do and laptops are portable and more more powerful/versatile? If so/not, why?

I feel that tablets have their place and it's a matter of what you're looking for in a portable computer and what you're willing to pay for, and I've had experience from using a notebook, tablet, laptop, and desktop computer. It's like looking for a new car. Looking for high cargo capacity? Truck. Looking for fuel economy? Sedan or compact. Family-friendly vehicle? Minivan. (I also don't have a smart(er)phone; last time I tried to obtain one, it felt like computer shopping all over again.)

Vehicular preference? What kind of car would you prefer, truck, sedan, minivan, etc?

Without googling those terms, I am not sure what they are. So, I will say neither one. :(

Your thoughts on Adam Sandler movies?

Can be reasonably funny and entertaining on occasion but I can only take small doses - the humor is usually just too silly for me. Also stars in movies that seem to feature no important or interesting roles for female actors.

What are your thoughts on the commonly referred to social media sites/apps/whatever? i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and all that other stuff I pay no attention to.

I don't mind Facebook, it's a really useful way to stay relevant in my friends' lives since we're spread all over the world.  I don't see the point of Twitter, and I don't know anything about those other sites because I'm old.

Is age just a number?  Explain your reasoning.

Age is a number, but with significance. Life is brief.  Whatever age you are at enjoy it, because it will soon be over.

Have you come to realize that life is fragile and a vapor in the wind, or do you still think that you are immortal and invulnerable to disaster?

Yes, euskera (Basque) is considerated an isolate language, and some authors have sugested it is pre indo-european. Also, magyar  (Hungarian) is part of the Uralic language family, as suomi (Finnish), but they were divided so many thousands of years ago that are very different now.

I've considerated only languages used in 'traditional' european countries; in geographical terms, Europe extends up to Kazakhistan and the Caucasus, so dozens of turkic languages must be added to the list, as many semitic and uralic ones)

In your first thought, which elements must be included in a landscape drawing? (i.e. sea, mountains, forests, rivers, etc.)

The biggest prolem to this question is the definition of "landscape". This can range from just Sea(or plain land) and sky to places full of everything. So basically some sort of Sky as a background and one cind of terrain (or simply water) has to be included.

Eventhrough "landscape paintings" and photographs usually feature landscapes that offer multiple elements, the only "must" are the basics. Some people define the world landscape as something visible, typically mountain ranges and so on, I don't agree with that. For me, there just has to be a single element and maybe some sort of sky to form a visual background and define the landscape pictured before. And if it's a flat salt lake spanning towards the horizon, then it's simple but it already is landscape.

I'd wish for a Honda Prelude Type SH with low miles, no rust, and NO RICER MODS, preferably in white, with maybe black rims.  Oh, more than that, I'd wish for an agent to pick up my novels and get them published and advertised!  Then I could quit looking for a boring, crappy job and do what I really want to do for the rest of my life.

I will assume you mean some structure or project here on Earth.  I would have to say the pyramids of Egypt.  Incredible accuracy when built and a massive structure, all done without modern machinery.

What is the tallest building you have ever been in?

A hotel. It was about 20 floors tall, but I was in the 9th floor.

What's the highest floor in a building you've ever been on? (Specify between US floor numbering where floor numbers start at 1 at ground level, and UK floor numbering where floors start at 0 at ground level.)

Floor 108 (American numbering) of the Sears Tower (Willis? Nope, never heard of it.), which happens to be the top floor.

Doing something against animal cruelty (eg dogs being euthanized in those centers where they are treated like trash or those unnecessary festivals like Yunlin or whales on Faeroe Islands)

Have you ever done anything that could make the world a better place if everybody was doing it?

Definitely. I abhor summer time. Summertime weather in these parts is unbearable due to the searing hot temperatures (can get whole weeks of 95-105 degree F temps) and the humidity is very high as well (65%-100% usually). I also have a fairly strong heat sensitivity and am very prone to headaches from heat so the summertime is the bane of me doing anything outdoors.

What's your favorite thing to eat for a snack (if you eat snacks)?

Okay, that is an evil, expletive-inducing question, but I'll do my best.  Okay, if we're going to take the franchises as a whole, it's a little easier, and the correct answer is Trek.  Star Wars was RUINED by the prequels and the *SIGH* "Expanded Universe."  Yeah, I know that "Enterprise" wasn't that great, but the original TV series was, and The Next Generation was greatness, regardless of the crappy movies they produced (except First Contact, that was good).  But the prequels sucked and the *SIGHSIGHSIGH* "Expanded Universe" is garbage and there's one way to look at it.  If I have to pick one movie/show from each, it gets much tougher, and as much as I LOVE Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, The Empire Strikes Back is better.  It's an amazing movie with a shocking twist and a still-magical Yoda that explains that you don't need wars to achieve greatness and it's enough to make me choose Star Wars over Star Trek, but man is it close.

How much do you think the Star Wars prequels sucked?

Enough that I regret ever watching them. I've always loved Star Wars, but man the prequels SUUUCKED. They were nowhere near as good as the original 3 movies, and definitely not as good as The Empire Strikes Back, which was a solid gold movie in my book. I really felt like they were a step back for the franchise, a problem that was compounded by the "Expanded Universe" and "The Clone Wars," which was garbage. I'm hoping the movie they're making now will be a positive in a sea of negatives, but my hopes are not high.

Do you think Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan was a good movie? If so, what was your favorite part? If you didn't like it, WHY NOT?
