Francis90b- Once you mentenion the New York City building code of 1961. I knew it was going down hill.

 

T Wrecks & Jack_wilds- I think I know What wrong with he podium, there's no parapet. I have not added that yet, or it can be anything. I wanted to make the building not have a park, I'm not a fan of the towers and Park thing. the ground floor could follow the turdenional style of building and then the tower could be set farther back from the street

If i'm to make a tower according to New York City building code, I would have to make a tower in a park, that means I will have to  make trees, I will have a so many polygons to work with. The tower will not be release. If Park towers failed to be release, then I will not make any tower apartment buildings until I  can think of something. It will be 2014 when decide to start a new Tower Apartment unless the Park towers is completed or if something changes my mind.

 

Here are some samples of something I could do, but It will cost so much time. The NYBT is my main front line, I must keep it running in order to be the NYBT heart, in other words to make NYBT active as possible.

 

 

 

 

Speaking of Towers, I have been thinking about this for years now that Aaron..... thaaaat's me to have a residential real estate building, the (GR Building) Graham residential real estate. It will be a while before I even start or if I do.

While many post 1961 residential towers are "towers in the park", many others have podiums, sometimes even several stories high - some are made up by a podium and a smaller protruding part, others are mostly flush with the street level and just have a small paved plaza between them and the sidewalk - you might do other things other than a tower in the park.

Oh for goodness sake, build the tower version too!  NYC building codes in the 1960s don't have anything on a fictional world, which is what (most) of us are creating.  Aaron, please make both!

Here's another update on the building, not much has changed but it's getting there. I need to add some foliage, ac units roof pipes stair railings for the steps at the back of the building, some terrace furniture, and night lights.

Just reading what you have said making a tower like this would be cool, but I do not want to add more time to this project. So here's a teaser guys. I have added more floors to the building and if it's was to come to life it will have to have a water tower on it surrounded by walls.
