Hmm.. they arent going thru down town anymore eh?

Put in a few minimalls into the buildings.. make one into a discount superstore, in fact I might suggest MuriMart from the planet Muridia, but thats a little far... Give people a reason to shop in downtown.. Low prices = gain...

Anyway, great job Mr B 1.gif As always... you could keep an entire city  section as a park.. planet wide park...

Where is planet Muridia? It sounds familiar, but I don't know why. Nexis City looks nice, it would be nice to live on the edge of City Bay.

It sure would be nice to live on the high-class peninsula...but Vallen lives up on the mountain or something right?

If that place has an old volcano, why is there a highway going through it?42.gif47.gif46.gif

P.s. Nice looking downtown, I like the shiney buildings.35.gif

    Death Reaper, I have about 1.4 Million right now in Genesis and only about 250,000 in Nexis City. Most of the skyscrapers are plopped into place to make it look good.

    RHF, yes Vallen lives on top of the hill in Nexis City. If you go to the complete view picture of Nexis you might see a little red dot on the hills (almost on the bottomleft)...that's his home.

    screamomatic....why not?31.gif Where I live, nearby we have a mountain called Orford and it has a lake like this one in Nexis City. It is an old volcano, but I mean oooold (like the one in Nexis City) and Orford has its Highway too, Highway 15 that connects Sherbrooke with Montreal. Besides I had no other way to run a highway through that terrain without taking too much space.

    The Evil Octopus Man,I am not sure that I have the Petrona's towers in Nexis City, but I think not so. They are in Axis City, if I remember right.
    Well ,I am glad you like my CJ dudyconstructor.1.gif
    No, jacqulina is not a robot, I can confirm that...lol19.gif...,palmgurl, and if you would have waited five more minutes you would have caught this update when it was fresh.2.gif

    Update again.

    From Grand Dam's Base of the Wallace team we received some pictures finally,the first time we get to see these parts of the Ganoga Valley upclose.
    Here in Agony, the second campment of the explorers was built and then Clay Wallace and his friend stayed here for a few days, studying the surroundings by making several daily trips to different corners. They arrived by the water on a small sailboat, camped for a few days and then left on foot to continue into the next township. From here on they said the waters were too rough to navigate by boat. Besides if they need a boat again sometime, they have a very small inflatable boat in their packsack,mostly for emergency uses.
    This is Agony Bay. A road from Ice Lake was builty many years ago and hardly is ever used because of the icy conditions in the Ive Lake County. The road was built to have a connection with the Ganoga valley for emergency use, and also for a futur way down to the valley. Agony Bay is the beginning more or less of the undiscovered country, where a long and winding lake finds its bed.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//1Agony%20Bay-View.jpg align=baseline>

    Here we see them arriving on their sailboat on day two and building their second campment. Surprizingly there are freshwaterwhales here also and quite a few of them as Clay mentioned. Hard to understand how they got here, since no real connection deep enough with other rivers or lakes are known yet,scientists demand themselves. Have they been stuck here since many years?

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//2AgonyRiverboat.jpg align=baseline>

    What Clay and his friend also mentioned on the imagefon report is that wildlife differs slightly here from the rest of what they have seen on Genesis. Hopefully some close pictures will be taken in the futur. Some scientists have been talking about this also a bit earlier, but it wasn't confirmed, since no one has yet reached so far deep into the Ganoga Valley. The forests are extremely dense around here, stated Clay , and it is very difficult to travel through these virginwoods freely. Clay also talked about having a cottage where the second campment is one day, when he can allow it himself.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//3AgonyForest.jpg align=baseline>

    Something never seen on Genesis neither are these giant birds that never seem to land, soaring over the forests in immense groups. There were hundreds of them clinging to the cliff's warm air.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//4AgonyCliffbirds.jpg align=baseline>

    A closer picture reveils that there seem to be different sizes of the same species. The mass of it kinda scared Clay and his friend to go any further into these parts of Agony Bay. Scientists in Grand Falls got very interested in these birds and also the new plantlife and of course the whales and now are organizing a field trip to these parts to have a closer look and study some of these things that Clay found. A bigger science tent will be installed in the valley soon.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//5Agonybirdsclose.jpg align=baseline>

    Now, in Cedar Bay last night at 10 Pm ,a Police Raid was organized by the Holmes Security. 19 people have been arrested in Cedar Bay and one in Nexis City, all connecting to a very large drugdealing organization. The Holmes detectives have been working on this case for several months now and many solid accusations have been made. Drugs were starting to become a problem in downtown Nexis City and the worst is that these drugs come from the old world of Uru. Somehow they were imported to Genesis. The Administration Office in Gloryville gave the order this morning to tighten the security at the Atlas landing strip and also at the LBST in the Capitol City. More intense inspections will be undertaken. Genesis needs to stay clean of this,is what the rulers mentioned ealier.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//6CeadarBayDrugdealer.jpg align=baseline>

    A visit to Red Poll might be interesting, because we havn't been there for quite some time. As we know, no permanant residences are allowed here close to the Giant Nexis River outlet, only cottages. But somehow a village was born just on the borderline. Here is Highway 1 and 2 intersection, also a rail intersection that separate to the same counties.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//7Red%20Poll-View.jpg align=baseline>

    This is the town of Red Poll, not much but all you need when you're here spending your weekend in your cottage. The law is very strict here and permits for building this and that are necessary. Not everything you want can be build in Red Poll.
    This town would have enourmous potential for a big town or even a City, situated like this in between Axis South, Bolton,Gloryville,New Sholes and Nexis City. All the intersections are all right here.

    <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//8Red%20Poll-TownJunction.jpg align=baseline>

    Red Poll also has a lot of wildlife and here you see that it can be quite a problematic situation sometimes. This train has hit a deer (in the middle) and is about to hit another one at high speed. Wherever small clearings have been made, you can find masses of deer at a certain time of day, usually early in the morning and late at night, exactly when the traffic is at its max also.
    Biologists are trying to figure out, if maybe a plant that they do not eat nor like at all could be seeded in these clearings to prevent them to come and feed on the rich grass, that grows there now. Fences are too expensive to install over dozens of kilometers and they are not too much efficient neither. I guess that this will be a futur problem to be solved on Genesis. Miss Kitty Cat form Hawklyn Valley will have a look at this possibilities to see a new plant that might keep the deers away.

    Someone should buy a large piece of lake front property at round lake junction, situated in scenic location and build a small or medium (not a towering) resort hotel, that would be surrounded by trees to preserve nature in that area.

    Thanks for all your replies.1.gif

    Concerning the birds: If you want a lot of birds in your City, this is what you should do.
    First go to the seedstore and buy a lot of bags of grain,the best available, then choose a good spot where you want these birds and start spreading the seeds all over the place. Now all you do is wait for them to appear, but don't talk too much,it might scare them away.
    Remember, more seeds brings more birds.2.gif

    Sorry,just had to say this.....41.gif

    As a matter of fact, if I would know why there are so many freaking birds in this part of that City, I'd tell you. I was gonna ask you why I have them47.gif.....Probably a bug, but I luv it, it couldn't be at a better spot. Funny thing though, hardly any other animals can be seen there...34.gif
    Bugs like this I accept gladly.

    I didn't use the animal placement tool in god mode to get the birds, they are simply there and nowhere else in my game, unless in some parts of the region where I havn't been yet..

    Besides if you use the tool one gets a lot of landanimals and only very few birds. There are no landanimals where my birds are. ( maybe one or two)
    It must be a bug, I couldn't think of anything else, because there is only birds and only at that precise spot and only in this city....??...Unless, is there a modd for this somewhere on the STEX that I could've downloaded, but then again, why are they only in this part opf the region and everytime I enter this exact city?

    Anyway, I like it, and it couldn't have been at a better place.

    News this morning:
    The Probe Forscher one has left our solaris system and just entered the dark space, where some planets and moons hang out without a Sun, but amazingly a very big and very dark planet has probably been discovered that keeps all these planets inline. It seems to be bigger than Kdorn, which is already gigantic. More on this next week.

    Octavius Augustus Sobchak had an accident on the job and is unable for the moment to continue to work. We know that he was working for the summer in a neighboring region and is supposed to be back this week. Exactly what happened we don't know yet, but he will probably tell us when he's back.

    Chad Benson and Noori Lecuyer, both on Uru right now,cataloging antiques and historical archives have been offered a job when they will be back to Genesis by the Historical museum in Tenzel Outlet. Only Noori excepted. Chad will be back to college to continue to study Manufacturing,business and marketing.

    The last vessel sent to the Meteor Opall has arrived near it and will land tomorrow to take a final analysis. Also the probe *Companion* has arrived and is about installing itself in the meteor's orbit to follow it to Uru. This probe will give vital informations on Opall during its 23 years voyage to Uru.

    On Uru itself , the weather is changing at some places, probably already being influenced by the presence of the giant meteor. Nothing to panic yet, but some winds of 340 miles/hrs have been measured in the Urulian desert, which even moved rocks around the size of an automobile.

    Clay Wallace and his friend are in a *new world*, as he calls it and again they will be staying there for a few days. Pictures are to follow soon.

    A bigger update will follow either tonight or tomorrow morning. We will see Round Lake Junction again for a small moment , Tenzel Outlet and Moose Bone, also we talk about everyone's summerjob.See you all then.
