Yes , Jasen Howell wears a gun, he is on the street Security in Bolton downtown night shift.

I kinda thought to make a list of all the characters and their *Godfathers(mothers)*. Maybe then you will all know who is who!

Here are some pics from Grand Falls, while waiting for the next update.
This is the beginning of the mysterious Ganoga Valley and the only entrance. Owned mostly by the Big Mansion Contractor Jim, the upper part on the right is now gouvernment owned, including the Scientists Mainbuildings and all their homes.
A road leading down to the valley has been built by Jim. It is a Private road and access is controlled. For the moment being only scientists, geologists and biologists have the unlimited permission to enter the valley as they wish.
The Crazy Ganoga Kid, as some already call him, Clay Wallace, has just given permission also to start his grand journey through the Valley from the covered bridge also.
Water in the valley comes mostly from the Mountain chain up in the North and also from the Ice Lake in the springtime, when the melting creates immense Falls that drop down several hundreds of feet down to the valley.
The Ganoga Lake is the deepest of all lakes on Genesis and some places are so deep that the bottom has not yet found yet.

Here is a closer look at the beginning of the valley, with the bridge on the bottom and the Science Station on top of the cliff. Completely on the middle right is Jim's Mansion, where he lives now.

Most of what Clay Wallace needs for his trip through the valley is already prepared and stored in this little maintenance Garage down near the river.

The Science Center is for the scientific reseach of the valley only,whether it's for biology ,seismology,geology or other uses. I might add here, that only a very small fraction of the valley has been explored by ground, simply because of the most  difficult and dangerous access.

Here is a look at the entire valley again.

Poor Julius Nicomedia living in the lower/middle classhomes.....but that makes him stronger and want strive higher. . And want his next generation a better life. As fortune has Axis school system yet felled the savings in the city Budget (or is the school system payed bye the councill of Genesis? ) And thats Julius glad for...and not stopping this genius possibilities. He will do his best to get to that  famous Medical college in Axis South.

 

 

Ps....Looks like Axis Citys mayor has to fire the chief of recycling&waste because those streets are full with garbage, are he really doing his job?

Jutlander79, good observation and yes Axis City still has some garbage problem, which are about to get cleaned up. It just takes time.

First Next Generation regular Update:

Today at noon precisely, the First Contact Museum in Fallow Canyon officially opened the Mainsection. After many years of preparation,cataloging and collecting, now the whole department is open for public visits. Before it was only a small part that the population had access,because some things were restricted and the Counsel of the Gouvernment had to approve them first.
The Director told the Media that 22 Halls are open now, containing more than 6000 articles of the first contact almost 100 Years ago, in two separate buildings. Included are some things like the Landing vessel (modern building),the clothers and gear the first arrivers wore,plastic models of all the members and the Gaburan Oriole, also small things such aspictures,footprints,taped conversations between the Urulian and Gaburan etc.- It is suremost worthwhile a visit! A Must come and see.
Noori Lecuyer was there also with her parents, all exited and nervous about the Grand Opening of the halls where she also had helped her adoptive parents to organize and classify the precious souvenirs of the first arrivals on Genesis and the first contact with the Gaburan.
Inside the modern building in front of the Museum is where the Vessel is located, the one that transported all 9 Urulians to what today is Gloryville.

Also today was the 120th birthday of Oriole (if he would have been alive) and hundreds of visitors came to see and honor its statue in the Oriole Memorial Park.

A closer look of the Oriole Memorial Statue with the big transparent Gold stone on top, the one that Rilian once found and offered to him near the landing of the Gaburan. The Son of Oriole was not present, he again disappeared into the Skinner forests. Very strange character!!
The Grandson of Capt Furron,Mikey Furron, gave the opening speech. Capt Al Furron, if you remember was the Captain of the first Space vessel that landed on Genesis and he was also the first to reach out his hand to Oriole, trying to communicate.

While we are in Fallow Canyon, we might as well have a look
where little Noori lives with her adoptive parents. Only about half a kilometer away from the museum on a street in the middle of a residential area.

Early morning yesterday ,White Sands was visited by very strong winds , and with its beaches of white and fine sands, a sandstorm developed for only a small instance and I was lucky to get a shot of it. Many cars, windows etc in the neartby area were litterally sandblasted down to their base materials. The storm did not reach the town , nor the Airport and lasted only about 10 minutes, but the Airtraffic was closed for more than an hour, just in case.

Also today the Oriole International Airport was officially openend, as if planned in advance to open at the same time as the museum in Fallow and the 120th birthday of the Gaburan. Here is a Global look at the finished airport. Of course some more minor constructions will follow. It was the Mayor of White Sands and the CEO from the Sirius Group who had the honor to cut the ribbon. Timotheus from Nexis City also was present. He hitch-hiked those 55 kilometers from Nexis City to here only to see this big event that he took part of somehow.

This is the Main-terminal, the Parking and the open Air Restaurant.

This is the Cargo-terminal. From here all kinds of merchandises will be transported to all directions and neighboring regions. Entirely and severy controlled by the Sherlock Holmes Security Services, this is probably one of the hardest places to bring in *illegal stuff* from other regions.
On the bottom left of the picture you can see the Royal Oriole Hotel.

Here is the Control Tower, (on top left) the story-parking (middle), the Travel Office (bottom right), and the Hotels on top. Something else is under construction, but I have no idea what it is yet.(middle left).

This is the entrance of the airport if you come in from the Gloryville bridge and here you can leave your vehicule and take a guided tour of the Airport facility,which takes about 3 hours, included is a nice lunch at the airport restaurant near the Terminal building.

Anyway that airport is [:0]!! I'm speechless, i always liked the airports built on small islands, that is really cool!!

Small update:

During the night a close friend of all of us, and a very well known Celebrity died of natural causes in his sleep. Brett was 70 years old.

Only retired lately and only started building a golfcourse in his own newly founded town, Brettville (south of Nintendon) lately, he did not have any family whatsoever. Since he was the Number three richest men alive on Genesis, all his fortune and posessions were seized by the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville. The  Genesis law indicates that all the value of  individuals that have no family after death, can and will only be used for the well being of the region and its citizens. It will be the population's vote that will decide, where and on what the money will be used for. We are talking here about several hundreds of Millions of

Thats why Genisis need a good Medicin Chemist (Julius Nicomedia) that mabey can develope some age-resisting medicin in the comming future   lol

Mr Bisonm: you're still doing a spectacular job! It's un-freakin-believable how you manage to keep the story going at such a constant pace, and to keep it interesting as well, this deserves more than a compliment! I know I've signed up for Genesis months ago, but unfortunately, due to obligations, a move to a new house and other things I haven't visited Simtrop for almost 4 months; I guess the character of Horatio has already died a miserable death... I'll have to work myself through almost 40 pages to catch up with the story again, because it's now twice as long as when I last visited.
