Wow, lots of comments...Just Great! Thank you all. It's all of You who make the story continue on and on.....

I have been busy LOTting and BATting this weekend and I have done about  a dozen and a half of new lots and 3 new BATs for the CJ. Some darn nice ones too. You will see some in the second next update, before the week is over.

 

I am glad that you all like my Airport, it took me awhile of building and destroying and building again until I found the right composition to my liking. I already have plans for another one near Nexis City.

 

Pekeboo,no not everyone dies of natural causes, remember Miss White?...she was hit by a train, and Owen Shepherd, he was burried in the earth quake in Corseville under a house...or was it Dan?...and other accidents like this.

 

Don't worry RadioheadFan, the Brett Company still exists and Thom Yorke will continue to dream to work for them once. (Thom works part-time in a smaller Renovation Co at the moment and not for Brett's Construction, Brett is(was) his idol and not employer) Besides for the summer (soon to come) , his Aunt in Trippelong has a job in her Resto for him. He will be staying there all summer and have a heck of an adventure also that he won't be ready to forget for some time.(sorry no more details).....

 

screamomatic, at this moment everyone that dies will be in the 70s and 80s , because most of them are in the same age, but many died before in the 50s and 60s and soon (in a few weeks) others will die in the 80s and 90s and maybe (I said maybe!) one or two of the older characters will hit the 100s.

First Update of the week:

Today we make a small visit to Ninten Bay, or Nintendon as some call it. The town was only lately founded by one of our celebrities, Mr Ninten. This town has been the target for many immigrants lately and many residential zones have been opened. Probably one of the fastest growing towns around, Ninten Bay is located north of Brettville and east of Three Towers with a 1,513 population at this moment. It does not have any rail connections yet, but Miss Lyll Nexis is about to plan new routes for her trains, meaning that Three Towers,Fallow Canyon,Brettville and Nintendon will have rail connections to the big Genesian Railnet. This of course could be a major impact on these smalltown's economy and growth, as one might guess.
We must not forget, with Opall only 24 years away from Uru, the LBST and all the Vessels are functioning 24hrs/day to get all the citizens off the doomed planet. Genesis is expecting more than a Million immigrants during the next 14 months. Meaning almost an invasion of Urulians is to come and houses will be needed.

Here a new street is about to be layed, an extension to the town again. Commerces can't keep up with the residential growth of Genesis and already some problems arrise. Not enough food production,and many other productions and manufacturing are missing and/or not insufficient. Just today the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville announced that every fourth labourer entering Genesis doesn't have a choice but to become a Construction worker for the next few years. Commerces, Industries and of course housing also, will need to augment their productivity for more than 500% to satify the all-around demand of Genesis. Oh boy, that means ...No welfare for many years to come!!!

Even some of the richer societies are implanting themselves here in Ninten Bay, close to the sea. Here also Farming is starting, a little too close to the town some think, but yet tolerated for the moment. Another problem that had arrised from the massive immigration is space, yes....., free space to build. Although there is more than enough room on Genesis, but space to actually build something has become somewhat rare. We all know that Genesis is immensivly wooded and that land has to be cleared before one can construct on it. Only two Loogging Company exists, one of them is the Famous Razor Blade Logging Industries from Treeland and Axis Harbour and the other one is the Tim Chula Logging Company, situated in Black Lake and Moose Bone, but both of them aren't sufficient to clear the land for the massive needs of the new Genesians. For residential and commercial use they can keep up, but when it comes to industrial zones to clear, or even the vast clearings needed for agriculture, both Mega Companies fail to fill the needs.
Last week, the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville made the demand to have the Urulian Mega Lumber Corporation, Pynland Lumber Ltd,moved as quickly to Genesis as possible to help out with the emergent needs for clearing Lands.
So we understood: more immigrants, more food needed, more agriculture needed, more cleared land needed,more workers needed, more residential housing needed,more commerces needed, more lumber needed to build....etc...etc...and that keeps on and on until it starts all over again.

Let's leave those problems behind for now and move to the Capitol and get some news from there. Julius Nicomedia, a young fellow in his mid-teens lives here near the Bay and Downtown in a luxurious Appartment with his parents. He goes to the Downtown Highschool and wants to study Medical research in the futur in Axis South's Research Institution. He already at his age thinks, that with the plantlife found on the Megantic Mountain, that Miss Kitty Cat has discovered, something special for the well being of the population could be achieved. Although he doesn't have any knowledge of what he might be talking about, but a funny feeling he says, tells him that almost miracle like results might be achieved with these. Already some progress was made with Miss Kitty Cat's experimentations and some pills are already on the market, that will ease many smaller sicknesses and physical problems and so far no side-effects have been reported. Jul;ius thinks that there is more, much more, hidden in these plants.

Imported from Uru piece by piece were the ruins of the first Cathedral ever built on Uru, more than two thousand years ago. These were relocated to the Long Pier in Gloryville and now the site is open for visits. Many other buildings,statues and historical buildings and artifacts are beeing shipped and since molecules of these don't mix with organic molecules, Dr Joao Otavio is about to develop  with his team of scientists a new LBST system, only to be used for *dead* objects. If this can be worked out, the immigration will almost double and then no fear of leaving behind masses of Urulians is solved. Troy Nexis  from the Nexis Corporation offered Millions of

Julius Nicomedia parents has moved from Axis City to the luxorious bay area in the Capital of Genesis Gloryville. They was tired of the high taxes and the bad waste/recycling management i Axis City. Gloryville is a well managed city with lots of culture and history, and taxes is moderate for the citizens. Julius Nicomedia is glad to move to Gloryville, a city with nice nature and clean streets.    

The Highschool he is studying at is very good...and mutch better than the old school in Axis City. Axis West High wasent bad ...but Gloryville Highschool it's mutch better.

Update Again, while I have some freetime and the muddy cold and wet weather prevents me from working outside:

Today it's Axis South' turn to be visited. Used to be on first place in population not too long ago, it is now only on third place,after Gloryville and Nexis City. Still a big City, it also is growing rapidly and steady with a population of a little over a quarter Million, following the two major cities right behind.
Room is starting to run out here, like almost everywhere else close to Cities and in this case it is the Hawklyn Farms, which are almost in downtown, that have to give away to the needs of development. Mr Hawklyn was offered a very interesting price for the land, so he was able to buy almost double the size of new land in Kate Springs. Mr MacVicar and Mr Sven having formed a Co-Op some years ago that no one really knew about,have built their first Highwealth Appartment Block on former Hawklyn's Land, the Easy *S* Living Appartment, as they call it.

 

This is a new way to live peacefully in a Community Appartment Block with all the luxuries one needs. Big Appartments very much sound insulated and well heated,will have their high costs though. Surveillance is done by the Holmes Security and even the Parking is safe to leave your car with the keys inside. It accomodates a small Grocery store,theater,bakery,jewelery,drugstore and many more in the basement halls, which in the futur will be connected to the subway that the Mayor has planned for Axis South.

 

 

Here is a closer look of the front of this Residential Giant.It holds 2,900 residents and offers 324 Service jobs....

 

 

...and a look at the *backyard* with its garden, lawns and swimmingpools. On the roof you can relax while enjoying the surrounding view, or even bring up your diner. Like I said,it's not cheap, but includes all the services possible.

 

 

Now on the less nicer side of Axis South, here is the never-ending Garbage story. When Oriole built this City, he never thought of the garbage disposal problem that it would once encounter in the futur to come, which is today, then another Gaburan took over the mayorship and made even a bigger mess out of it. So when Rico Az became mayor, he had the hard time to correct it all, and with help of MacVicar, Mr Night and many others, the problem was partially solved,by shipping all the new garbage to Stone Valley in the south. One thing though, Rico didn't figure out how to get rid of the existing garbagepile that towers north of the city in the industrial zones. Slowly, and surly it will be dispersed, but it will take years. Meanwwhile enjoy the smell , if you work in the industrial park or just come by for a visit and take a breath along as a souvenir. By the way,It is the best place to observe some seabirds,crows,ravens and pigeons and even some four legged and furry creatures.(some not identified yet)

 

 

I told you earlier that we will look at the new penitenciary and follow its construction with time in Cold Valley. Here it is, they have started the construction. Cold Valley has been only civilized by the presence of the Power Plant that is owned by the Sirius group yet. They started building it 5 years ago, only to bring in more electricity, that will soon be needed down in the valley of the big Cities of Axis and Gloryville, with their enormous growth. All that it is left to do now to finish its construction, is to build the lines to the valley and have them connected with the rest of the Powernetwork.
Just west of it in the mountain valley, they decided to build the new penitenciary, supposingly to be the 4th biggest construction site ever planned on Genesis. Well , already more than 1500 workers are on the job. The site was chosen by the counsel in the Capitol because of it's security. Here, once finished, one only needs a good surveillance system to the east, while the other directions are natural barriers with very steep rockwalls and very cold freezing temperatures.

 

 

It is supposed to be a complete closed community, including a hospital,library,high security department,rehabilitation Center and even a factory where inmates can learn all kinds of manufacturing trades. The only entrance to this *Fort* is by an underground tunnel, which is highly gated and surveiled.

Other news:
This morning at 5:45 hrs, a vessel for the last trip to Opall launched and will arrive on the meteor for the final tests within 4 months. This time Mr Otavio will not be onboard, but will be leading the mission from the Groundcontrol in Urulia,the Capitol of Uru.

Soon we will have the first pictures from the spaceprobe Forscher I, it said on the frontpage of the Gloryville Chronicle, now very far from Genesis and still on the way to the new solar system. It also said that the mission is going like planned and Miss Evermind Wellwisher is happy that her plans and programmations work well like this.

A newcomer to Genesis who arrived today with the LBST,is a fellow named Seth Braun (19 years old), whose identy is not quite clear yet. Some say that he had to escape Uru before he gets caught for illegal activities, but of what kind? He didn't even present himself to register at the immigration office and surprizingly nobody noticed his absence of reporting himself.....? How is this possible?

Another new kid born in Moose Bone 13 years ago , is Bucky Garfield, who goes to the Kate Springs Highschool for the moment. Nothing much serious in mind and really without a planned futur yet like most the teenagers at this age on Genesis,he likes to gamble with his schoolfriends and surprizingly even makes some money, that he spends in theaters and festivals.

And a last Newcomer to Genesis is Horatio Utora, the only son of the Baker Utora from New Holland and now living in the vast industrial City of Cedar Bay. Horatio is a qieter guy of 15 years old,who likes to keep everything on paper that he does and what happens around him in his private Journal. He is going to the Cedar Bay Highschool.

Some important temperature changes were noticed by the scientists in Grand Falls. Usually it is warmer down in the valley than on top of the cliffs, but temperatures are rising to the top and the valley gets colder since three days. The reason is still unknown. A very slight earthquake also was registered down in the valley, but that is not unusual, since the Ganoga valley still contains the only active volcano on Genesis.

That's it again for today. The next time we will go to Cedar Bay, it had a problem with an bridge that seems to *travel* on its own and also visit a very fresh and new township, the village of Obi,full of animal life that one may almost say that it is a plague, and of course we talk about all the students that now are officially on summer vacation and what they are planning to do for the warm period.

Mister Bisonm , This CJ is definately one of the most inpressive CJ i ever saw, not only because the great use of custom lots/ BAT's but also the kind of extremely 'Unique' . It has a feeling , you know a typical feeling of a 'country' just a land where many things happen , my CJ can't ever battle with this one , such a great CJ

 

I think the airport 'Jeronij' showed is also a piece of art , just great realism. Also the region view is very nice , the 'icelake' gives me a cool feeling , really would like to see some big cities hehe , but It will be a pity for the great nature..

I am sad to hear that your game crashes to the desktop so often, Alkaola. It happened once to me with Round Lake Jct,I tried everything, even erased it completely, but it continued to crash once in awhile. Then I got fed up and simply ripped out the file of that city out of the region folder and started with a new one, resculpting the area. Now it is fine. Never found out what happened..... Don't give up with with your CJ, Greater Clo

Mr Bisomn, i noticed how close the roads are to the runways of oriole international airport, in real l

 

life the roads would be farther away so planes don't hit cars and buses, there are even some trees

 

in the way, a good addition to the storyline is to say that a departing plane was taking of and it hit a

 

bus that may have a celebrity in it, the bus was pretty much destroyed, and the plane was seriously

 

damaged, forcing an emergency crash landing in the woods, no one in the plane was killed, but

 

they suffered injuries from the crash landing, and then they heard the bus they hit had one of the

 

celebritys in it, another celebrity could have been on the plane, and heard about this, maybe a

 

friend of the killed celebrity, if there are two celebritys in the bus, maybe one survived, the 

 

goverment ordered all roads to be 5 to 10 feet away from all airport runways, and no tall buildings

 

in the way.

I don't know about your idea of the airplane and celebrity superchad, have to think about this. About the road too close to the runway, well, this is the way SC4 is played, out of dimensions. And that tree, yeah I know, when I planted some trees around the island borders, two darn trees ended up on the last runway lot, and I didn't feel like demolishing that lot and try to find it again in all the plugin and menu mess....lol.

Hm.... I found my CJ on page three only after 24 hrs[:0]...there must be a lot of other CJ updates or activity happening.
About the Oriole Airport in White Sands: you know it took me something like an hour or so, it looks like more time was spent on it , but actually with the joerg airport lots it is made a lot easier. All I did after is fill up the empty spaces with other lots, while going through my park and landmark menues.

Small Update:

This Noon, the first pictures of the Probe Forscher One that was sent to the newly discovered Solar System, have been published. Maybe there are more pictures available, but probably most of them are either seized or banned by the Government. Besides, they will only show us what THEY want to show.
Now Forscher I is almost one month on its route and these two pictures from the Solaris System are the last that we will see from  the Probe, because soon it will be too far away for us to recognize this system.
On the first picture below, we can exactly see where the Meteor Opall is situated right now. In between Kdorn on the left and Uru on the bottom right. We also see clearly the gigantic Dustcloud that the meteor pulls in its path with it.

 

A closer look at the probe and from another angle. The reddish planet is supposed to be a satelite-moon,situated on the edge of the Solaris sytem. **It is completely dead, but older than Solaris**, they said on television,**and very small, only about 1 tenth of the Genesis Moon**.
While Forscher has many years yet to travel, before it will reach the outer edges of that new Solar system, we will continue to have updates about its voyage from time to time.
Also the Nexis Space Division announced today, that a new Probe, named Companion I, has been sent to the meteor to follow its path for the next 25 years towards Uru. It is meant to take close pictures and register many readings, while the meteor travels. We probably hear more about this later also. The probe will reach Opall in 9 months.

 

 

Now back to the solid grounds. In Cedar Bay , some observations from scientists have been made and reported, that the industries there do not really respect the environmental laws and much more pollution than hoped for is developping. Big Mega Industries have sprung up all over the two townships of Cedar Bay and some say that it can already be seen and smelled in Groundhogs Springs, 60 kilometers further away. Luckily for Nexis City, the Mainwinds are in favour and blowing the pollution in the opposite direction.

 

 

Here is a close up of the dirty smoke rising from these Big polluting Manufacturers.

 

 

While we are in Cedar Bay, home of both Octavius Augustus Sobchak and Horatio Utora,we'll have a look where they live. Almost neighbors, these two don't know each other yet, besides having seen one and the other some times. Octavius is gone for the summer working in the neighboring region, picking fruits and Horatio is about to start some summer literacy courses in Nexis City, only to be more than ready for the College. He will be traveling by bus everyday. This is a Worker's town and one can see that wages aren't too high.

 

 

Some problems have arisen in Cedar Bay lately and the trains are on vacation,as so to say. The Main bridge towards Nexis City is moving north at a pace of almost a quarter an inch (.5cm)a day. This is great concern to Lyll Nexis the owner, but also for most of the industries in Cedar Bay, now that they are stuck with shipping their products by road. The only way out of here is by the Highway through Nexis City and the Mayor there is already freaking out, because he can just imagine what the traffic in his City will soon be like. Lyll Nexis, the owner of Nexis Rails and Bridges, cannot understand why the bridge is traveling like this. Studies will be done also of the road bridges, because one scientist (geologist) only mentioned as a joke , that the Nexis Island is floating away from the shores.... But this is now taking seriously. On this picture we can slightly see the tossing over of the rails. They are out of line now.

 

 

Here a new village was founded, again mostly agricultural. It is called Obi. So far only a handful of farmers have arrived and cleared the land, making it more suitable for farming.

 

 

Very fertile land, Obi is situated north of Kate Springs, towards the Nexis Islands. It is overwhelmed with wildlife, some are starting to be a problem for the farmers and their crops, as we can see here.

 

 

Only a few kilometers away from the village,  I took a picture of a whole herd of deer and I even saw a bear there too. They were just walking on the road, and endangering the traffic heavily. Something has to be done about this, and I hope that someone will soon report this to the Regional Counsel.

 

 

While I took a flight over the hills of Obi, I could hardly believe my eyes, when I saw on the upper plains a Wildhorse herd that must have been in the hundreds strong. These are prairie animals and will not descend to the  valley through the forest, so they stay up here in the plains on top of the hills. I don't know if someone saw this, but there's a little fortune here. Maybe a Horsefarm can be build up here and take profit of this species, while leaving them in their natural habitat.

 

 

Here is just to show you where Obi is situated. North of Kate Springs and west of Bass Bay. The blue line shows where the wild horses roam, on top of the hills that are in three townships. They have a lot of room.
