The sheer scale of this CJ, and the wonderful innovative buildings, make this a standout even without the quality of everything else. Brilliant.

Interesting...in one of the pictures, you used the same building as you did for the casino in Round Lake Junction! lol. Wow, we're so close to 2000 replies...first CJ ever to come near that, I think.

Very interesting, and for the Opall fragments, maybe if we are lucky they will just hit Kdorn, Solaris, or nothing at all. Because Kdorn is so big the fragments wouldn't affect it, and they would just burn up if they got to close to Solaris.

I mean the fragmenst that come from when Opall hits Uru, maybe they might stop, or turn around and go back in that direction a few years after it hits Uru.

Great update, and awesome news about Opall meteor. By they way, i haven't been able to see in this journal why, a long time ago, the meteor Opall has been named like this when he was discovered, does someone has any clue ?

I think i remember that in some previous pages, i've read that Opall may be empty, since it's mass was well below than expected. It's a great new that it's now confirmed. It looks that we may well have news about Opall, or its remaining, after the impact 1.gif

In any way, 35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif and half about this CJ (out of 5, since nothing can be perfect 2.gif )

Hey, thanks for coming and leaving a comment.

RadioheadFan, there comes a time when even with 6000 different lots, the repetition happens. The choices in a game are still limited and that building we moght even see again somewhere else in the futur.
Opall was named by Daight Nexis when he first discovered it ,over a hundred years ago. There is no special reason why that name though.
phath3, the building beside the Neuschwanstein Castle can be found here on the STEX, but I can't remember the name. Does anyone else know? It is a church I think.

I will be back after the holidays, meanwhile don't do anything that I wouldn't do, ya hear?....lol2.gif

Nexis City is also talking about building an airport in the next 5 years. I wonder where they will build it, since there isn't much room left on the big Island.
    quote>

There is some open land that looks like it might be a good spot just to the sotu of Nexis City, but i don't know if it is flat enough.

Why not build the airport in Cornfield? It's flat enough, close enough, and there's plenty of toom, so why not?

I don't think that the Hawklyn Valley Shopping Center in Axis City needed any commercials or advertizing, since the Mega Hall in Nexis is way too far to be a competitor, but an upcoming one in Bolton might become a serious competitor.
Leech10, the land south of Nexis City is flat enough to have an airport and I stole the plans for the two possibilities for the new airport to serve the Nexis City area.
First, the island in the north of the City could be enlarged as the yellow squares shows and it would give a perfect area for the airplanes to land. The blue line indicates a futur highway planned.
Then the second option is where Leech mentioned, down in the south, although a hill is somewhat in the way and some landfilling has to made there also.
There is no third option. Cornfield is way too far and besides farmland has become precious at the moment.
    The decision is made yet.

timotheus, Gloryville has already its airport, we were talking about Nexis City.

This afternoon, two individuals, one Urulian and one Gaburan were arrested by the Holmes Security in Lichen, probably hiding. Both have been suspected to be involved with the Scientist Double-Murder, bringing the count of the arrests up to 13 so far. Mr Sherlock Holmes, now aged at 67, is about to leave his Company as to retire, but really wants to finish that cause once and for all.
Those were the news tonight on R.I.C.O.Tv.

    See you soon.2.gif

The region looks nice and I agree with Bobinator I like the mountains in the background. The map is spilt between CBD areas of Nexis City is that hard to plan where to place the skyscrapers since they are on different citie squares ?

I can imagine it would be...but, the city to the left also has a sort of mid-town area, so even if the skyscrapers weren't exactly together, it would still look partially realistic.

I think the airport would look better on the inlarged island, since you have a lack of space and option 2 takes up a lot more of it, but that is just my opinion.

Still one of the best journals here, after so long, so CONGRATS on that!

I think the area I said would be better for the airport since you won't have to fill in as much water.

Woha, I drift away for just a few days and this thing escalates!10.gif
I have little to say, since all I could say already had been said. But yet, I admire your love for this region, Mr.B, and how you didn't get bored of it until the end. I myself failed in that (check my journal for greater explainations) and I hope the same won't happen to nexis...
As always this is the greatest journal around. Keep it up!39.gif
