This is what the whole Nexis of Genesis Storybook looks like on my computer, of course including a few never published stories,paragraphs,ideas and pictures. It's a big file!

I will make an update only tomorrow night, the darn weekend was too busy for me....lol

Problems in Grand Dam City, a look at Grand Falls again, Nexis City and it's new schooling system planned ,Oxalis new Hotel and of course the continuing work on the Oriole Airport.

Plus the revelation from Joao Otavio, about the Meteor and the lift off of the *Forscher I* probe to the new solar system.

Yes, slayerovsims, my computer is in french, like many computers that we have here in the french part of Canada.Some things are in english though, probably because they couldn't be translated.
Well Jutlander79, the pharmaceutical plant comes from a japanese site and I think eddiem or Armandeus would know where it can be found. I have no idea. The Aspen Condos are Nexis customized lots. I don't know who did the original, but all the colors are Nexis lots, and not available on the STEX. Below, I have another version of these Appartment blocks, they are blue and bigger. In this update , there are 23 unique Nexis lots/Bats if you look carefully.

Update again.

First let me tell you that I don't have the time to make the update of all what I predicted earlier, so we will go in two or even three parts. Today we will visit some small places quickly and then stop at Grand Dam's problem for awhile.
On another day we will go to Nexis City to see what they are up to with a new schooling system,a visit at the Oriole Airport, Joao Otavio's revelation about the meteor and the lift off of Forscher I, the probe that will be heading to a new solar system.

First let's get the news from Axis City. It was announced yesterday , that Axis City and Axis Harbour will form one City in the Futur. Reason is simple, not enough expansion room for Axis City. Some parts of Axis are protected and cannot be developped. Axis Harbour is already pretty filled up, but still has more potential for residential zones, plus the town is still in debts and Axis City is about to clear all its debts. So I suppose that the two together will have a better futur.

In Cornfield , Rilian Water Company installed a watertower. Usually that means that the town will be growing soon.

Next month, more than 75,000 immigrants are expected, coming in whether by the LBST system or with the 22 space vessels that are continously traveling between the two planets. One of the immigrants is a fellow of 25 years that wants to start a Coaster Company here in Nexis City. He has been working like crazy on Uru to gather some money and to immigrate and start a small company.
Sven did it again, surprizing most everyone around. He opened a Deluxe Hotel on his land in Oxalis on the foot of the Megantic Mountain. This Hotel has its own very nice little private beach on these famous white sand island. By the way, Sven still lives in the Elizabeth White's home in Black Lake, away from the City.

Vicarville, named after the rich Alexander MacVicar and the neighbor of Coarseville, where the mines are,is not really a new county. It is going for more than 25 years now and still only has a small population of 120 habitants, mostly farmers. A few years ago, the Government has given the opportunity to buy land for farming for very little as long as the new owners will garantee farming for the following five years, that many lands in this county have been sold for ridiculous low prices, and new farms arise almost every week. Here is one of these smaller , but typical family farms, growing barley and wheat in the summer.

As you can see here, it is not only Treeland that has farms now, but many other townships in the same region have developped into a farming community. Of course this is explained with the massive immigration from Uru. Now food is needed more than ever on Genesis, although many tons of it arrives still from Uru with the LBST every month, but soon that will stop also, nobody will be left on Uru to produce.

Now to Grand Dam City and its problem. This Spring the waterlevel has risen again and the new counsel of the dam don't seem to remember what happened 17 years ago in Hawklyn Valley (former West Axis). Adley Hawklyn went to the counsel in Grand Dam and tried to explain the problem with not opening the valves to the max at this time, which is so much essential not to cause another big inondation. Owen Shepherd( may he rest in peace) was the former Director of Grand Dam Electricity, and he knew what to do at times likes this, but the new director , only since a year now, does not understand the situation.

The overflow happened within 24 hrs and it started with a landslide on the dam, which made a part of the actual Dam disappear. That finally triggered the reaction of the new director and all valves were opened as much as the river can handle. Down-River residents have been warned the same day of the water level rising from the opening of the valves and I think, just barely another inondation of the Hawklyn Valley was avoided. Miss Kitty Cat on the experimental Farm already gave the order to bring all the documents to a safe place. Her too had the experience of this awful inondation of the Grand Dam River years ago.

While we are in Grand Dam, let's have a look around, it surely changed again. This nightshot of the whole City shows how big it has grown. Who would have thought of it almost 60 years ago, when this was just a dead valley and then a place for the worker's housing was chosen and a city grew out of it with time.
Grand Dam was then ,and still is , the biggest construction site ever seen. Mountains were moved and rivers were dug, all to have an electricity facility that can almost furnish a whole region with power.

Downtown is not what it used to be neither, now Hi-Risers dominate the former worker's barracks. Here is where the soon to become famous Clay Wallace lives and goes to Highschool in his final year, only to begin the journey through the Ganoga Valley next spring. People already are talking about him and his planned journey throught the wilderness. Also Poke Pika was born here, but now lives in Nintendon and Nick Ranley, who comes to school here from the neighboring town of Lichen.

Imagefon belongs to  Wren Trey, who has invented the imagephone also and only in the last months has separated with Henry Zeddicton from ZeCoSo and Troy Nexis from Nexis Electronics. Wren, now in the late sixties thinks about to form this company and then sell it for a small fortune, only to take his retirement in the Skinner County .He said something about 3 to 4 years still to go. Just beside his Headquarters, some other big Company is about to construct their new headquarters, but I have no idea yet, who that will be.

Nexis Electronics also is present in these parts of the Genesis Region with a Branch of distribution Outlet.

This is where all that power is produced and shipped through large wires to Axis City, where it is divided to go in all directions.

It is a spectacular view at night and you have to be there to be amazed by all the lights. You can almost smell the electricity here.

 

Noori Lecuyer, the adopted girl from Uru in Fallow Canyon, had her first visit to the First Contact museum , where her adoptive parents work and she was amazed of all these precious souvenirs of the first contact between Urulians and Gaburans. Norri's father once said, before he died with his wife in a car accident on Uru, the souvenirs are the basics of the future and she remembered it when she took hours looking and studying these objects. This is something that she is very interested in and the first thing she asked to her parents is if she could go to the Art College in Gloryville once she finished Highschool in Three Towers. Her adoptive parents supported the idea.

Vallen Nexis, first Ruler of Genesis, and also the sole owner of the Mega Nexis Corporation today signed over this Corporation to his son's son, Jade Nexis, who is already working for the firm since several years now. Jadis was officially pronounced the CEO of the entire Nexis Corporation. Vallen, now 86 is retiring in Nexis City on top of the hill.
His son Troy did not have the interest of becoming the owner of this Mega Corporation, probably because he himself is about to build a Mega business with his Nexis Electronics Ltd. Also Vallen's daughter Lyll, who never got married and doesn't have any children, wasn't interested in becoming the owner, since herself has two well working Companies in her own name, Nexis Railways and Nexis Bridges.Jadis, very interested and also very ambitious , was the best choice to Vallen Nexis, who without any hesitation signed it over, so that the Nexis family can continue this Corporation for another generation.

Octavius Augustus Sobchak , born in Cedar Bay is now 14 years old and is going now to the Nexis City Highschool, something that his parents wanted so much, since the Cedar Bay Highschool does not produce so much education.

For some unknown reason, Gaburans today have closed their borders to Nexians. This is probably caused by the extensive search for the Gaburans that were implicated in the two scientist murders last year. Holmes Security did not have any other choice to continue here on Genesis to find more proof of this investigation.

Those new building are awsome  .I like it when u use youre own lots thats make the city more personal and uniqe. Well if they not going to be released, Ill probaly have to design my own aspens. ...but hey... mabey I learn something good out of it . Did u use the lot editor or did use any kind of 3d programm? to change the orginal aspens . But that will happend when I got time of course....time is something u cant buy and dont have lol. And I also have to look at the japanese sites, although my japanese is allmost as good as my french that will say my french sucks and there to my japanese lol. And my english well...It could be better......why did the danes lose england (daneslaw) in the 1000th century think about that if the danes had colonised america, when I could used my danish in the whole world . Enough with history.

jutlander79, those Aspen appartment blocks are rebuilds with the gmax and then rendered as the Nexis Versions.Also they have different lots made with the LotEditor. There are 7 different ones of them. I might get in contact with the creator of the originals and ask him if I can release these on the Stex.

Today we will talk about the new educational System in Nexis City, that Vallen Nexis entirly financed, the Nexis City University. Also while we are there, we will have a quick look around, like the new shopping Center, the biggest sofar on Genesis, and owned by the Sirius Group from Axis City.

The Nexis City University, NCU, was entirely financed by the Nexis Corporation, only to offer an excellent education to the people of Genesis.

Timotheus received a nice check from the Sirius Group for designing some parts of the new Airport in Whites Sands and he moved to Nexis City, now that he can pay his education at the Nexis University. He rented an Appartment not too far from the University on the 27th story of an appartment building and found a small part time job in a Printer's Shop as a Printer. The walk to the University is only 20 minutes away, which will keep him in good physical shape also.

The Sirius Group decided to build a shopping Center in Nexis City, just outside of the Suburban area. This mall is even bigger than the one in Axis City, owned by Adley Hawklyn.

If you need something, you can probably find it here, if not, you will problems finding it anywhere else. This Center is immense and one can easily spent a day in the premisses, which is surrounded by other Major Companies and stores.

First time that Nexis City's Soccerteam won a game with Gloryville.What a day for the Nexians! A big party was thrown at the Lion's Pub in downtown.

In Grand Falls Jim finalized his villa on top of the cliff, overlooking a good part of the Ganoga Valley. From here he can even observe the only active Volcano on Genesis on a clear day,smoking away, just like someone with a pipe. This part of the valley belongs almost entirely to Jim and he offered it for the science Center to study, but in reality he has other plans with it, like making a natural park out of it, for tourists to visit
in the dry season. Plans are being makde with his wife,kids and friends and a good amount of several Million of

Saving Uru is impossible, at least I cannot think of something that could save it. Opall, the meteor is heading towards the blue planet of Uru and the meteor is almost 30 times bigger.

Here are again some facts about Opall:

-Probably made out of ice at 80% or more.
-Canyons as big as Uru and deep as the distance between Genesis and its moon.
-these giant cracks are filled with dust and other loose materials collected through the universe ever since its existance,maybe even including some planets and Moons.
-the mouvement of the meteor is extremely rapid , but only sideways, and probably at a speed of  more than 29 thousand miles/hr. It makes a side full turn in less than 18 minutes, and for its size, THIS is fast. And this is also why the landings are even harder.
-The advancing speed towards Uru in the contrary to its rotation is very slow, less than 200 miles/hr and now I think Joao is talking about 178 mph.
-the size of the meteor is 27 times bigger than Uru,which is slightly smaller than Genesis ,which in its turn is about 95% the size of Earth.

 

Now, keep that in mind, if you think that Uru can be spared, because unless a Wonder happens, this seems to be quite impossible.

We will get to know much more about this subject in the next update, when Mr Joao Otavio will make his public statement in the Capitol City of Uru with all the results of the lst investigation of that Giant Icy Rock.
The press conference will be on direct on Genesis  R.I.C.O Tv tomorrow at 21:00hrs. It is said that only one more trip to Opall will be made in the near futur.

Here is just a preview of the Oriole Airport, which is still under construction, but somehow managed to open a small part already. Nexis City is also talking about building an airport in the next 5 years. I wonder where they will build it, since there isn't much room left on the big Island.

Mr Otavio is preparing his speech for the press release this week. He is on Uru right now, and the scientists have finished their study on the meteor. The results will be  mentioned by Joao.

Julius Nicomedia just immigrated with his parents from Uru this week. A young fellow , only 13, will be going to the Axis City westend Highschool, nearby where his parents bought a Condo. Very talented in biology and chemistry, he aims high and wants to become someone important one day. Let's hope his dreams come true.

I am sorry to announce the death of one of our celebrities again. Mr Smurfer from the Smurfer Steel Company  today was found lifeless in his office chair of his headquarters in Tenzel Outlet. As we remember Mr Smurfer , together with Miss Evermind Wellwisher, were the first that climbed the Mount Evermind in the County of Smurfmind, and the trail is still called the *Smurfertrail* nowadays. He was aged at 69 years.May he rest in peace. His funeral will be held in the Smurfmind church and he will be burried in the General Cemetary of Gloryville by the end of the week.

The Company went to the names of the Stockholders and it will continue in the name of Smurfersteel Corporation, which still is furnishing Nexis Railways and Bridges with the finest steel available. It is the third largest Manufacturing business on Genesis, hiring some 6000 workers. Mr Smurfer was the seventh richest man alive. The big and spacious Smurfer Mansion in Smurfmind is now for sale and profits will go to the Regional Park and Environmental Association.

RadioheadFan,you guessed right, it is partially Joerg's airport pieces, but also mine. The airport in Nexis City will not be in CedarBay, too many mountains too close and not enough room, since the industries have again expanded a lot.

 

Opall's truth reveiled!

L:ast night at exactly 9:00 Pm , a press conference was held in the Urulian Capitol City Urulia. It was given at the Humanity Center on Rivol Street.
Mr Joao Otavio, now aged at 62 years, held the conference and gave the Main speech about the Meteor. I will not go into all the details here, because he had for more than 2 hours to say. I will give you a summary of what he said.
First he mentioned that the studies of the meteor are almost finished and only one more trip to it will be planned in a few years and only to find out its speed and direction. Only one vessel though. As He mentioned many times before, his prediction and flare was right. The Meteor is actually empty inside, and only empty space, no gazes of any kind. The scientists think that it has been moving and getting bigger in space since more than 2 Billion years and they are surprized how come that it didn't hit anything before, because no traces of any impact was found, besides smaller debris, meteors and dusts, including a lot of frozen water,ice.Where and how it started is not explanable, could have been at the other end of many universes away.

The meteor is very unstable at this time, caused probably by the voyage close to Kdorn and its magnetism. Mr Otavio said that the  giant rock is about to break up into billions and billions of pieces,when it his Uru. It will not absorb the planet as thought. Many of these pieces can be very dangerous,once they are on their way to any other planets, moons and suns, like our Solaris and maybe Genesis and Mahoon . Pieces can be as big as Uru or Genesis.
Opall is now 25 years and 4 months away from Uru, but in about 12 to 16 years from now, Uru will not be able to support any life anymore. Temperatures will change from cold to hot and weather will be just awful with winds of speed that have never been seen before. Also the seas will act crazily and the atmosphere will break up. The Meteor is still traveling at a low speed and still slowing down. If it weren't for Uru, it would have probably just stopped an urulian spacemile after the planet (approx 100,000 miles).
There is no way of our knowledge to slow it down even more.
At last Dr Otavio recommended to clean up Uru within the next 10 years.
This conference was seen on Uru, Genesis and Mahoon at the same time on all TV Stations.
The Gaburans contacted the Genesians right after this press conferenece and both gouvernments have made an arrangement to meet within a year to discuss the meteor matter more seriously. Are they getting scared also? Maybe they can help somehow with any new ideas?
...*What can we say.....the last hopes now were lost and let's pray for our best...* were Mr Otavio's last words this morning. Joao will be on Genesis tomorrow by travelling the LBST and find his home, that he didn't see in the last 4 years.

We will have a picture on hand very soon, to show you the exact position of the meteor now.

 

Ok,let's go on with life on Genesis and have a look at the Oriole Airport. White Sand's Mayor today announced to his citizens the positive impact that the Airport will have on the town's economy. Just the taxes of one year will pay the town's debt.
Althought the airport is far from ready, it is already functioning part time, as soon as one runway was finished, the Terminal was built and once only 10% of the interior was finished, the doors opened. Today you can fly locally from this airport.

 

Construction is all over the place and now more than 3500 workers of all kinds of trades are spending their day on the island everyday. Electricity comes in under water from Gloryville and then watersystem is fully functioning also. So are the roads, which are all in place already.
A undersea tunnel is planned to bring in the subway,trains and regular traffic.

In Oxalis/Megantic things are changing rapidly. Now it was planned that a whole historical village from Uru will be transported here in pieces only to have it rebuild. Even the ruins of the first Urulian King's castle will end up on the foothills of the Megantic Mountain.
Here we can see the village of Oxalis, on the westside of the island and viewed from the top of the mountain.

The last time I showed this county, I forgot to include a picture of the underground shopping mall in daylight.So here it is, smack in the middle of this *Genesian Las Vegas*.

Money and revenue is good here,and that shows a lot, constructions are all over the place. Genesians (Nexians as some call themselves) are people that love to enjoy themselves and economy is more than excellent in this new world.

Here they opened another theater and showed the first part of the Urulian Documentary that Mr Rico (may he rest in peace) started a couple of years ago. Right in front of it ,there will be an Imax theater soon.

New Motels,Hotels,Casinos and many other tourist attractions are appearing every month. Now you can have a round trip of the island in a ship like they did hundreds of years ago. Go back intime and enjoy a real discovery journey and maybe even encounter some Island pirates.(reservations are necessary)

And at last I had a visit at Jim's new Villa in Grand Falls and as I promissed, here is a inside picture of his Domain.Sorry ,I had the chance to take only one picture without being detected, I didn't want him to be aware of this,and the picture is a little *not clear* because it was made with a small spy camera in my baseball cap. But take my word for it, .....wow....what a place.I want to live there.

A dreamer named Julius Nicomedia has arrived to Genesis, Axis City. He was very impressed by the higerise buildings that has been built in Axis City. Especialy the Sirus Group HQ is almost for him that the buliding are reaching out to space.[:0]   

 Today was his his first school day, the Nexians student are very nice and freindly and he is really enyoing his stay in Axis City. He has adapted quick and almost feel like an Nexian.   

I must agree with the others the Oriole Airport look nice. Smart to build ot on a Island just the way like the airport in osaka are built. Mabey I should try to download Joergs Custom Airport.
