Finally Update 16 is here but not without some replies to your comments first.

anarchy0029: Thanks for the comments and I'm glad you like the shopping centers in update 15.  I hope you will enjoy this one.

MTLT_17: Thanks for the comments and another comment on my newspaper, maybe I should make more eh?  I will finish the highway eventually but I don't want to get to far ahead of the cities development.  How is your CJ doing now?

TrentonD: Thanks for the comment and we have talked on MSN already so that's a good thing.  I really do like Calgary and I am basing a lot of stuff on it.  Keep posting and thanks again.

jacqulina:  Thanks for the comment again and as always.  I'm glad to see you noticing some of the key aspects of my CJ.  Thank you very much.

Shadow_Asassin:  Thanks for the comment dude and here is some more of Deerfoot Trail completed.  PS Another comment on my newspaper but hey you did help me create a little bit of it too.

Jill Jacobs:  Thanks for noticing and keep commenting here is Update 16.

x.V.I.N.C.E.N.T.x:  My name is Riley sorry for the confusion but I agree too we except I have a little more of a Canadian twist to my perspective.  What do you mean landscaped around BATs?

SirUnger:  Thanks for the comment and I really think I should make some more newspapers eh?  What do you think?

CarmineHilton:  Sorry for the small version I have a large monitor so it was easy to read initially.  It's fixed now at least.  Nevertheless, thanks for the comment.

    sedimenjerry:  Thanks for the comment!

psander5:  You always seem to give some of the best comments!  I fixed the size, sorry again.

Ntq$310:  Thanks for the comment and keep commenting.

haljackey:  Well I didn't darken the photos they are in-game shots but it does somewhat look like that from that angle and height don't you think.  But, I'm glad you liked the rest of the updates.  Thanks for commenting as always buddy.

Benedict:  Haha, a lot of cities expand in the desert don't they?  Thanks for commenting.

GreekMan:  Well I hope to see this CJ in the best of the best one day!  The University won't come next but it will be soon.  Thanks for commenting!

Retrodude818:  Thanks for commenting and yes Tim Hortons are the most popular coffee place in Canada, (well at least in Regina and Saskatoon).

sparrowsraven:  Thanks for the great comment and for your own help just search Wal'Mart on the STEX and it should be right there!

danielcote:  Well thanks for the thorough comment. I am working on mass transit other than busses but major cities still have parking areas.  I don't have excessive pollution and my commute is fine now.  Once my city hits a higher population then I will worry about placing a LRT system (I already have the routes mapped though).  Thanks for commenting and here is your update at last.

ky72x:  Thanks for the comment!  I sure hope you enjoy this update as well...I even included some more cemetery shots for you as well.  Keep commenting.

haljackey(2):  I'm glad you like the RHW (thanks to you!)

x.V.I.N.C.E.N.T.x (2): Thanks for the comments again but what did you mean by landscaping around BATs?  Here's your update as I promised!

SirUnger(2):  I'm glad you like the curved roads, I did them myself haha.  Thanks for commenting again.

pogoboymtk:  Haha, nice spelling!  I wish ST had a canadian spelling option.  Here is update 16.

SimHoTToDDy:  Thanks for the comments and I'm glat at least one person understands that school comes first, haha.  Thanks Todd, and I hope you enjoy this update.

roboo1:  Thanks for the comment and here is yet another cemetery.

newyorkrunaway1:  Thanks for the awesome comment!  I'm glad you like the region view,  nothing much has changed in this one though.

As for everyone else, here is Update 16.  Although, there was a slight delay in this update I have to apologize due to school but there is not much I can do myself.  Well, I hope you enjoy it and I would really appreciate some comments as always.

I think we got a nominee for the "Most realistic CJ" trixie! This has got to be one of your finest updates, Rusty! An amazing attention to detail and planning make this CJ absolutely stunning! Fantastic job!

    Best,

Agreed Hal - Another fine update. One of the most realistic aspects of Revelstoke is the way you organize the commercial within the residential - very real, and very Calgary-like 4.gif You have a very real, natural layout of the city and everything looks well together and blends nicely. Hell, everything is great as always.

On a side note - I think I finally know why that logo seems familiar. Is it the logo for the World Skills competition here in Calgary next year?

Something smells a little odd, with Nose Hill. 3.gif

Like the new suburban developments too. It should be interesting seeing the golf course be built... especially in such a narrow profile.

Cemeteries. Something you often don't see in CJ's...

Revelstoke is growing really fast. I can barely plop 2 buildings in 5 minutes...32.gif

Thanks for replying! Yah LRT's are cool but is most of it under or over ground because downtown has such nice buildings and I'd hate to see them go down! Oh and where's you're house because you've got to live somewhere to Eh. So to conclude this message I'd like to know how good you're health and education levels and I would like to see a big airport if you can maby 2 updates from now or something because I'm obsessed with transport especially rail and air.

    Hey everyone!

Wow, it sure has been awhile since I have updated.  I must apologize for the lack of presence on here but both school and work haven't been agreeing with my time schedule.  I'm applying for Dentistry College soon so I have to commit a lot of time to it.  Not saying this CJ is over, at all, just expect an update soon after my finals.

Thanks for your patience everyone and I apologize again.  I will put more effort into creating an Update bi-weekly.

    Cheers.

Hey Rusty, very nice CJ. Just wanted to drop in to say hello, after seeing the title, I live in Salmon Arm, Revelstoke is about 45 minutes east.

Nice City, so much work put into these CJ's.

A quick question if I may, how do you get the huge cemetery, or in another CJ there was a very cool looking golf course that fit right in with the coastline, sort of how your cemetary follows the road ? Are these custom  one of BATS ?

     Hope theres another update coming.

    -G.

    Oh how I miss Revelstoke...

Rusty, I nominated Revelstoke for a Trixie (I think it was "Most Aesthetically pleasing city"). Sad to see it didn't won, but your work here definitely worthy of a Trixie!

I hope to hear from you sometime, and I wish you all the best.

Yep and bumping the thread isn't going to help. 3.gif

But, I did have a chat with Rusty not too long ago and he said that this CJ is not dead. I'm sure he has something planned, and we need to learn to be patient.

    Hope all is well Rusty!

    Best,

    -Haljackey
