Welcome to Page 639.gif

Nice airport and I like the parks around it as well. I like how the road runs through it and you've got bus terminals separated from kiss and ride.

I also like the idea of the beltway (Deerfoot Trail), though I'd recommend having it cross the river at the north end and come back down to terminate at a major east-west route.

Very nice dude. You've outdone yourself. And for the person that asked about "trails" instead of parkways. That is a Calgary and Edmonton thing. If you looks at road maps of those two cities you will see what he is attempting to accomplish by naming them that way. Just for your info.

Great stuff man. Keep pluggin away!

I agree with dfnva.

Crossing the river will help delay congestion on a more direct link to the city. Even though that would be years ahead.

Lovely airport.

Nice job editing the damage and destruction in some of the past updates, it really looked pretty genuine. The shots with the rain were great too. As for Revelstoke International Airport, it's really unique! I mean it, the shape of it is plain awesome. I like how the taxiways curve into the center of the airport ramp area, and the runways. It's an eye-catcher. Nice placement of all those plazas by the airport entrance, great layout of the roads, too. And the plans for the new highway look pretty promising as a good bypass around the city. Another job well done!

I am very serious about your city becoming a neighbor city for Virgin Shores and trade oil with Virgin Shores and your city of Revelstoke.

Sorry I may have asked you already, but is the brown terrain available for download anywhere on the ST-Exchange? And congrats on starting the airport. It looks fantastic.

After a long and unprecedented break from this City Journal I am back.  I have to apologize I have been busy with other things.

However that's enough for excuses here are some replies for your comments...

Greekman: Thanks for the comment as for the trails it is an Alberta thing.  What I meant from Deerfoot trail  is that it is just basically a rural highway.  So basically it is a parkway.

Amerikaner:  Thanks for the comment!!! I love that haha.  Isn't that what airports are lol...a huge maze?  As for these pictures there is no grid.  Getting used to working without it now. Thanks again.

haljackey:  Thanks for the comments.  Deerfoot Trail won't be built for a little while but your right.  It will enhance traffic flow and accessibility to the city and the airport.

Equilibria:  Thanks for the comment and any link to perimeter fencing would be appreciated.  I am in for the nightmare to put in but I know how great it would look.  I would really appreciate that.  Deerfoot Trail will be a Rural Highway so until I actually build subdivisions and developments I will see if i have to upgrade existing infrastructure.  I'm glad you liked the design of this airport I really appreciate your praise.

rjkrox:  Thanks for the comment and that's because I based the overall layout on Lethbridge, Alta (not anymore though).  If you would have read the whole CJ you would have read that.

Penguin007: Thanks for the comment.  What landscaping are you talking about.  A picture would be nice.  It's all on the STEX

dfnva:  Thanks for the PAGE STARTER and comments.  Thats one of my favourite attributes to Revelstoke International.  And as for our idea thats excellent.  I just had to end the highway somewhere.

anarchy0029:  Thanks for the comments as always!

MTLT_17: Thanks for the explanations  and comments.  I hope you enjoy this update.  Have fun at the Rider Game on Saturday by the way.  It wont have as much energy as you are used to though.

sedimenjerry:  Thanks for the comments and imput.

Retrodude818:  Thanks for the comment.  The landscaping in front of the airport make it really stand out.  Thats what I believe more cities should do.

ky72x:  Thanks for the comments!!  Thats what I'm going for : genuity.   I hope you like this update.  Keep commenting.

supercity124:  Thanks for the comment and I will look into being your neighbour if your up for it!

Urban23:  Thanks for the comment.  The terrain MOD is avaliable on the STEX

psander5:  Thanks for the comments as always.  I hope you enjou Update 11.

As for everyone else thanks for viewing and here is UPDATE 11

After a few days with no replies I thought why not make another update.  It's shame that we didn't get to page 7 with replies...oh well3.gif.

Shadow_Assassin: Thanks for your comments and your help with this update.  I really appreciate it!

feliwi:  Thanks for the comment!  I hope you like this update.

halkackey:  Thanks for the comment buddy.  Haha, to be honest  I didn't even notice the traffic when I took the pictures or edited them.  I hope everyone thinks Revelstoke is as good as you.

Ntq$310:  Thanks for your comments as always.  I like the residential subdivisions to take the realism of any "Canadian City".  I hope you like this update.

Nexis:  Thanks again for your comment.  I hope to hear back from you.

GreekMan:  No problem I hope thta looks good on your cities (the streets at least).  Send me some pics if you want.  Those are some european houses (keyword: gascooker)... I think, if you cannot find them let me know.  I'll dig them up.

sedimenjerry:  Thanks for the comment and the link!  You're awesome.

Godzillaman:  Thanks for your comment.  Missasauga, Ontario?

Retrodude818:  Thanks for your comment again and what trees are you asking about (there's lots)

Alright so there isn't too many pictures for this update but there is a lot of work (you can ask Shadow_assassin yourself).  I re-made Revelstoke Post as well; it took a long time.
