    Abcvs I can sympathize...

NMUSpidey I hope your new favorite number wins me some money on the pick 3 lotto... and hope you get over your illness soon. Perhaps a piping hot bowl of stripe soup would help?

    kj3400 llamaburgers?

    Hester It's delicious!

Leech10 According to my soothsayer, the Magic 8-Ball, signs point to no. Then, it said to ask again later.

NMUSpidey Cool! So, beware the Ides of Matt!

    Hester Egg-zactly!

kj3400 That sounds like a very multipurpose soup! What crackers go with that?

Abcvs I saw those screwdrivers at The Leftorium in the Springfield Mall.

Hester You are very hungry today.

    Leech10 Stripe cake? Been there...

    zebra1.gif

Hester He is the best of the best for chef!

Leech10 Elephant steaks go well with A1 sauce.

Rklesc I think the rhino in question was a TurboRhino.

kj3400 Perhaps you would like to open a café upon your return?

Rklesc I am not a stew person. Perhaps a wildflower salad?

    Jacqulina Thanks, Jacky!

NMUSpidey A plate will be delivered to you pronto!

Gn_leugim Obrigado! I am glad you liked the latest pix.

Abcvs Would you like fries with that?

Joetropian1 Giraffe gumbo? It's as legal as any other gumbo. Eat up!

ComputerGuy890100 Sorta does make you hungry to think about, doesn't it?

kj3400 That's an order you don't have to ask if they want to supersize it.

Leech10 Although some vehicles from the stone age are still on the roads...

ComputerGuy890100 It is being prepared for release soon.

    Abcvs Such good posture...

PhatHead How about GAG? Grilled Arizona Gilas?

Jacqulina The new update will be up soon.

Joetropian1 Not bigfoot, though. Well, not this update, anyway...

Sobol Actually, I am not a pate person myself. I prefer a nice chocolate-based sauce.

Gn_leugim The forest can provide much.... Including the next update!

Well, I can't tell what this is going to be all about, but considering the amount of trees I've been seeing in the last several pages, I'm guessing it's going to be about... trees?

    East Atkinos: Arthur's West Forest

Fleet Captain Splunt, having been appointed to rule over the region of East Atkinos as Grand Duke, has been cooling his heels in East St. Paul, awaiting the construction of a permanent and more fitting capital for the duchy. He chose a central location, locating inland, near the vast Woods of Wayne. The site, situated to the west of the forest, was named West Forest by Splunt, who sees it as a central hub for transit across the region. The predominant styles of architecture in the planned community are Lake and Georgian, not unlike what can be found in the Lake George area of Devonshire. There is an undertone of Narrow style buildings, first popularized in Schulmericho. He directed the City Planning Office to respect the natural area of the site and preserve and incorporate as much forest as possible into the final design. Harold the Herald, Chief of Heraldry, has designed a suitable city emblem for the town.

    westforest.jpg

The City Planning Office spent a good deal of time to meet the demands of Splunt and his entourage. A large central business and government district will be surrounded by homes and businesses, preserving tracts of woods as tranquil islands of nature throughout. The cosmopolitan city is the largest in East Atkinos, but nearly every street is flanked by trees. Truly an urban oasis.

Fabulous Splunt Square is one of the highlights of the town and a destination for any visitor. There are a lot of fine upscale shops vying for your schulmoneta. Boutiques such as Holiday Hawke Gift Shoppe and Simon Says "Buy" are big draws. It is hard to pass up the inviting window displays at Sidney's Outfitters or Candles by Cecil.

    spluntsquare1.jpg

The mercantile row Splunt Square is anchored on this end by the massive Holiday Hawke Gift Shoppe (left) and featured a long row of exclusive retailers.

    spluntsquare2.jpg

Simon Says "Buy" has a large façade right in the center of the complex. If you buy without Simon saying to buy, you are out. Of course, Simon always says "buy"!

West Forest is not all about retail. There is extensive office space as well. Forest Row has been established as Schulmania's first commercial office park. It features office space for government agencies as well as for businesses. Among the prominent businesses with a presence in Forest Row are VAN Enterprises and SFS- Sobol's Feline Services. SFS' founder began the business with the vision of developing a hovercat. Though none is on the market, research and development is ongoing. Several educational services also are in Forest Row, including Jota Mosaic Institute and the Jacqulina School of Terraforming.

    forestrow3.jpg

The Leugim Hotel provides deluxe accommodations on the eastern corner of the complex. It features a great restaurant in the atrium.

Backing up to Forest Row are fine homes. These offer great views, fine services and short commutes to work.

    forestrowhomes1.jpg

Note how the City Planning Office has preserved open space while allowing for sufficient room for living and working. FCapt Splunt requested this of the City Planning Office.

What's up with that dude with the mini golf in his back yard? That sand trap could be used for other purposes by neighboring cats...

    hou1.jpg

Before you ask... that is NOT a satellite dish in the back yard. It's a bird bath. Yeah, bird bath. For big birds. Yeah... in case like an ostrich flies in and is dirty and needs a bath. Absolutely NOT a satellite dish!

    bus1.jpg

Oversize novelty bird baths are available at Duck Season, a bird supply store located on the corner of Nikonia Street. The site was formerly known as Rabbit Season but is now under new management.

    bus15.jpg

Another Duck Season is located near Splunt Square. General Manager Arthur Q. Bryan describes the selection as "If you aw hunting for gweat suppwies, we have exactwy what you are wooking for. Our pwices are wock bottom - no wascawwy middleman to waise the pwices on our mewchandise."

    untitledj.jpg

    Arthur Q. Bryan, Manager

    bus16.jpg

Arthur walks home after a long day at work. He passes right by the slender domed Busscastle Chocolateria. Perhaps he will stop by for a little something.

    hou9.jpg

Arthur arrives home. He bought a small box of truffles for dessert. What's for dinner? He was planning on rabbit stew, but it seems like a duck is on the menu now.

    That_s_All_Folks_4627bb58c6f7f.jpg

    Until the next update, anyway!
