Dalton: I know, at the time I made this city though, the only slope mod available was way too extreme for use in a city this hilly without basically terracing -everything-. I just haven't gotten around to refining the roads.

Tahill: The one within the interchange on the mid-right is a toll booth; if you meant on the left, that's not a highway but rather High-speed Rail, and that's a station for it.

Where did you get those walls?

MCO1254 - that's a very realistic rural highway setup you got there, I like it!

Wow, nice job bwebster82!  Although I don't get why the el-rail has to circle the cloverleaf...

Here is a new highway that I have been working on.  Its going to be in a urban, but forested area when its done.

As always with my photos, click for full resolution!  (1920x1200)

Ubi79: Road/avenue turning lanes are included in the NAM. Just check them off during installation if you want them installed.

Once you have installed them, re-draw your intersections and turning lanes should appear. New intersections should have turning lanes appear automatically.

I hope this helps Ubi79!

Best,

-Haljackey

haljackey::: great highways , I have had some trouble getting much use out of highways , the most iv'e been able to get is about 8,000 but that was a terrible city (I was just trying to jam a highway)

I've got a question , how did you get those textures.

EDIT: not anymore!its the new year!

Sorry to wake the dead here, but I was reffering to the off-turns on the button of the picture, not the intersection...

So I've always dabbled in SC4 Deluxe, but after viewing this website habitually, I've been getting more interested.  I noticed that most of you used sunken highways, and I was wondering what terraforming steps you all use to get just that section for the highway to be lower than the surrounding area.

The hole diggers (search STEX for "hole digging lots smoncrie") are much more practical than the mayor mode terraforming tools so better use them in my opinion.

The motorway E78 is connecting the city of Mephida and the largest port of the country with the capital of Dimland Penthesili. The new parts of the national motorway are ready to serve thousands of heavy tracks. This motorway ensures the development of the region while reduces the travel time to Penthesili to two hours and forty five minutes. The beautiful landscapes and the rich forest are really a breathtaking experience.

Wow, amazing job mitsos! That has got to be one of the most creative dual highway setups I've ever seen! It kinda reminds me of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in India.

Best,

This is an awesome motorway. Love the landscap, especially where the bridge crosses over the waterfall. Reminds me of traveling through the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, USA. BEAUTIFUL land, great highway.
