Don't think I've seen one of these shared yet- elevated RHW-12S

Also here's a new 12S bridge, with a big split to the east

These highways and others can also be seen on my latest UDI Vid- which has the first pic as the thumbnail :P

that's a lot of FLUPs on the southern(?) portion of the interchange! It would be fun to see how are they connected to each other...

It's actually not quite what it appears. That is, I used the ol' road to subway 'cheat'(lots). Though I'm sure there's probably way to do it using FLUPs but I'd have to do some rejigging with the highway and building placements, might just give it a try for fun sometime

Developing a system of urban parkways like you'd find in the outer boroughs of NYC.

This design features a freeway, paralleled by one-way parkways with at-grade intersections, lights, and ramps. This provides easier access to local streets while taking slow-moving local traffic off the highway.

This is near the intersection of a few big roads. Still finishing the neighborhoods, but I wanted to show the bones.

A mile up the road to the west - the urban suburbs expand to the Western Channel, and Marshfield is bypassed with a riverside route. The parkway system will end here at its coastal terminus.

Notice the bridge in the middle where I changed course as a planner and reimagined the route to the west. The old exit was too close to the existing interchange at Grassmere Blvd!

This config is much more realistic.

Added some more connections and developed the industrial corridor south of the city limits. Almost done with the area!

Got inspired by kaimai's PClark Town.

Love how these interchanges took shape --- thank you again as always to the NAM team for all the creative pieces.

The only quandary I still have is the westbound to southbound connection at the expressways. You can see at the far left there is no space to add a clover ramp, and an extra fly under/over seems complicated at this stage. My best option would be connecting some sort of FLEX-MIS tunnel situation but it's late in the project.

I don't want to put in a light along the river route, but I think due to budgetary and space constraints I'll need to. Big bummer. But at least the river route only has a state route designation, so it isn't beholden to interstate standards. This makes the traffic light option legal, albeit still unsafe and undesirable.

For now, take the Boulevard instead :P

Sometimes all it takes is writing it down on paper.

These flex underpasses are a miracle. :D

That tunnel in this form supports exactly nothing, but looks very nice. The real issue is that for the S-FLUP you need actually "overpass pieces" where the tunnel crosses the on-surface network, however a) we don't have neither diagonal b) nor curved pieces (specially not crossing on/off ramps) that would support the on-surface crossing. We only have OxO crossings, so that set-up while looks very nice, it's entirely not functional. :(

Imagine some cones across the road and a "road closed" sign.

I'm sure in NAM 52 they'll release the functionality I need. Til then --- TAKE THE BOULEVARD!

The alternative was no connection, so I'm still jazzed with how it came out. :P

Good catch - The eastbound-southbound ramp was the last one to get done. The lil ramp was the only way south during construction. Best to decommission it now - seems like a hell of a weave zone.

@EffTheGrid

Another there is.

Westbound to Northbound exit ramp off of the Highway to the Boulevard could be split, looped, and then brought back across the Highway with either a Standard Tunnel or a Flyover to the exact same point your currently Non Functional Tunnel makes its exit back above ground. Flyover would be recommended being that you are going to eliminate that lil ramp then there would be no need for the Flyover to touch back down to the ground until it meets the Southbound Boulevard.

Having grown up in New Jersey it is my concurrence that this is indeed a very New Jersey like Interchange.

Added RHW on a existing maxis highway network to serve as a main roadway along the region (8 lanes) ,  this city works as a junction city, each end of the  maxis highway leads to an important area of the region : airport, harbor, capital, etc and now is connected to the main regional road. Just gotta make sure I have enough gas stations to keep it working.lolimage.png.97d5c9cfb990f037426ce648fc21cfa3.png
