Hey, not quite sure what this interchange is called but i'm just going to call it a collector freeway cloverleaf. Its situated in an undeveloped area in the outskirts of the big city where 2 rhw's meet. Sorry for the quality

It's a cloverleaf with one set of collector/distributor roads. Not bad.

How did you get the rhw to go underground?

He didn't; He used a network that can because RHW can't. (It's actually an OWR tunnel, but the tunnel entrance was modded; I can't find it, though.)

For the record, RHW-6S does currently have an elevated version, so the tunnelling is somewhat unnecessary.

Yup that's a cloverleaf with a C/D setup for the east/west highway. A good way to reduce some weaving.

I think your junction would look much better if you used some more smooth curves, They exist for the RHW-2, and you certainly have the room for it.

In addition, this is a picture of an interchange, and should be posted in the thread.

Built a new highway designed to be very realistic.

Just go on the STEX and type tunnel mod I think it was made by jaystimon.

Made an Imgur album of the new highway I made in the video, as per a request on the SimCity Reddit.

To view in full size, put your mouse cursor over the image displayed and there should be a sprocket in the top right corner. Click it and a full size version of the image should appear in a new tab.

Direct link to album if it isn't working: https://imgur.com/a/vH6BJ

It'll definitely be a problem for anything except small business craft. i think theres an airport In St. Maarten that has a distance similar to that ( in which people can actually feel the conculsive wind blast on the beach from planes taking off )

For the tunnels I use Rivit 's Tunnel Mod, that changes tunnel height to 7,5m. Those are OWR tunnels (still no RHW tunnels) Link:

Barriers are lotted by me (it's all eye candy except the transition :D) but the props came in mrtnrln 's RHW6C cosmetic mod (in this one you will have the barriers only between the carriageways when you drag RHW6) Link:

There was ahother guardrail mod for RHW somewhere in SC4D but I think it doesn't support RHW 5.0 :uhm:

How have you installed rivit's mod? I installed it correctly, I think, but the tunnels show up very strange. ( )

I use Ennedi 's slope mod (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1512) so I could install the tunnel mod without modifying nothing, but if you have your custom slope mod you have to set the parameters that appear in the Readme. In my case road tunnels look weird, but OWR ones look good (as you may notice)

Hmmm, I have a different slope mod, but I followed the Readme, and still my road and OWR tunnels look strange... :(

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

elavery: why did you use raised avenue to make your overpass instead of elevated RHW?

New video from me that shows a new 'throughway' which consists of some avenue, expressway and freeway elements.

Enjoy!

On the left side is a small traffic jam... :sly:, but fortunately the right side is empty!

Wherever :D, let's take a break and tank up the car!
