CockaToo!!! this is suPerB! Brilliant work!

Couple of pints. Reduce brightness of the logo a bit, to prevent those FG artifacts (splotches) around it . When something is too bright those appear. Sometimes it's enough to turn it down just a notch ...

Another thing check your PM...

Bixel, oh... it makes me missing HK, and in a funy way although when I was there I was hating those monstrous complexes looking at your work I can't help but love them...

BTW check your PM too....

Little Fourth of July Suprise:

Its the hatch shell on the esplanade in Boston, where the Boston Pops world famous 4th of July celebration is held. For those Americans interested, it is nationally televised on CBS.

Hi Everyone!

Some of you old timers might remember me as the guy who was working on this building about three years ago...

OakDay1.jpg

OakDay2.jpg

It hasn't changed at all in the past few years since I've been a bit distracted by real life. But I recently got bitten by the BAT bug again, and decided to have a go at it once more. Here's the result so far.

DunkinsDay2.jpg

DunkinsDay1.jpg

As you can see, it's a little tiny Dunkin Donuts that we have in my city, basically just a kiosk with two drive-thru aisles and no doors! Comments and criticisms are welcome, particularly in regards to scale, roof textures, and whether or not the trim around the roof is too bright. Thanks everyone!

Trying to make your own version of madhatter's masterpieces eh? Well nicely done, but it seems too bland. You need to add a bit of character to it. Try placing some props and adding some little details to the structure. I'd also like to see this one nightlighted. Good start though.

I would scale it a tiny bit bigger, maybe like 10-15 percent. Good to see some dunkin's on here, and I do remember those home bats, do you plan to release that?

I don't think it's bland, but I agree that the building should probably be scaled up. Also, I think that this might be better in general on a 2x1 instead of a 1x1.

You should finish that house too. What else is there left to do on it?

LOL, I don't think I have a monopoly on a certain style or way of doing things for BATting.  The scaling that other people have mentioned is certainly needed.  Personally, when I BAT a building that is only a single story, I tend to cheat it and make it around 6 or 7 meters high - things can look a bit stunted and squashed when I do them lower (like my bail bonds place, I look at it now and say "oh to add another meter would look great").

Keep on truckin', glad you are trying your hand at BATting!

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

Hunghom Penninsula. Phase 1 3x12 R$ and Phase 2 11x11 R$. I am going to add some more facilities tot he lots, and add 1 park ploppable - see that highway that runs through the middle, Hong Kong actually has built a park on top of it with 2 tennis courts and another court with a park. Going to bat that next I think. Hopefully it will be released some time next week.

been a while since the days of Mr. ChickenNugget 3.gif

Thats an awesome design swat, the only thing i don't like is the base, its a bit too bland to be worth of the tower portion. Love the tower.
