Looks like I passed 3,500 not too long ago. I remember when I thought post count was everything. I pretty quickly realized it didn't really matter, but it's still kinda fun to see it go up every time

I guess that would explain why my profile says I'm most active in forum games. I'm pretty sure most of those are from when I first joined and I just wanted a lot of trash posts so I would be taken seriously. Awesome logic, eh? It'll be cool if I hit 4,000 posts, but I want them all to be worth their space. I make sure to put a lot of thought into my posts now.

3,500 over 6 years? About 580 per year, seems pretty reasonable to me.

Well it's taken a while but I now have 1,000 posts!

Spent the afternoon playing with the beta of UBUNTU 11.10. New desktop is now pretty good, and best of all, the AMD driver for my Radion 3000 chipset is fixed and I can run SC4 in hardware mode. My old panel containing my shortcuts turned into the new launcher on the left of the screen, and they changed the window header so that the menus only show if you move your mouse on to it. You get about 20 more pixels of screen height, and the launcher panel hides when it is not in use. This panel also replaces the bottom status panel.

For me, this is a serious milestone, because I was pretty P.O.'d with the 11.04 version.

It is a beta, and I found a bug in the file system control panel.

So, now for the first time I can say I have 1,000× my age in posts.

This then brings up two questions...

Q) Will I make it to 24,000 posts before my 24th birthday?

A) At the rate I'm currently posting, no. I'd need 11-12 ppd to manage that and I don't think I'm even averaging 5 right now. So I'll have to reclaim the distinction (but keeping it shouldn't be difficult since making over 1,000 posts a year is easy)

Q) When is Nonny going to pass me?

A) Late March/early April next year, the way things are going.
