Man, these railways look so cool ,and so realistic. It just makes me think, my regional railroad system are squat compared to these.

Hi. Those pictures are great. But I have a question: do you know where can i find a steam train mod and those bridges, which are on those pictures. They are not in the STEX. Maby you know some internet page with train models for sim city.

PS.

Hey, don't think like that.  Just use whatever you like here as inspiration and make some kick-butt stuff.

Times like this make me wish the USA had great railroads like it used to...danged highways and airways are 1-UPing the american railroads right now...

My Railroads are very efficient but don't look as good as these. I still have at-road crossings. I wish the Network addon mod would work for me.

Did you say the NAM doesn't work? If so you should go on SC4Devotion.com and post in the NAM Troubles stickied thread...but above all else read the readme...perhaps you could try the BSC Cleanitol to rid your hard-drive of conflicting files?

How are you guys building Avenue overpasses over multiple rows of rail? That's a hurdle I run into often.

Also, is there any particular benefit to having multiple rails side-by-side? I notice many people do so and some of the custom stations are designed to accomodate it.

Baltic-Sep2221201717339.jpg

above grade rail turns meets the at grade network, with an underground connection.

Baltic-Aug31221201717319.jpg

a broader scope of the above grade network again becomeing at grade. the station in the upper left is a jump off point for the regional rail to the underground.

TEASE! But judging by your interesting uses of lots, and immaculate detailing, I'm sure your rail network is fantastic

Those diagonal jigsaw patterns created by diagonal rails and roads can be quite an eyesore. Does anyone know a good diagonal lot to use to get rid of them? I did find some overlapping diagonal pieces that came with a finnish bat, they are very useful. Id love to see more overlapping basic "base" lots who overlap whole lots or maybe even two. That way one could change the base under all bridges etc. By putting an overlapping lot next to them.

Have a look at the UHW or UHP in the STEX and Forums here. I am yet to install it though so cannot say for sure how effective it is
