Hm… reflections…

Well idea with tilting windows planes is perfectly valid and in fact is used in pro level architectural presentations, although not at this scale – the model itself is small and number of windows is huge… One can devise quite simple script to automate the procedure but the number of separate windows may be a problem on some systems and for some rendering engines MAX has problem with large amount of objects in the scene as database substructure of program is rather rudimental. One way around this could be not to make each window a separate object on it’s own but an element.

Another trick in breaking “perfection” would be applying noise map (play with various settings) to the bump channel. Same as above arrange windows in several different element groups, for instance in check pattern.

 

Main thing though would be getting rid of the sky reflections – NO way those clouds could be seen form game point of view.

This building is not spectacular in height, but it has an very interesting design and beautiful colours.
