There's still more to fill in so don't be thinking thats all.

(On a side note,  you can clearly notice to borders of each city.  If you did noticed, the bottom 2 that which is the CBD is 1 city.  The middle section is different settlements or other cities.  And above that is just the Qutor Desert.  The most death-killing desert in the planet.  If you noticed a settlement in the Quator Desert, that's just a little settlement that has been founded by archeilogists.  No artifacts has been found just yet.)

Hi guys.

This is my region as it stands at the moment.

It's grown from a single-tile small town set in around 1920 to this medium-sized fledgling city covering at last count 60 tiles (largest possible size).  The current game-year is 1987.  I intend to continue it well into the future, and hopefully do some really cool stuff with BATs when we get into like 2100 and 2300's.

This is the region shot at size showing the main central region... it's only recently started to grow towers.... the entire city is still primarilly farms, urban sprawl, and manufacturing industry.

There are still no highways anywhere in the region, but it's getting to a point where they'll be required soon.

The below region shots are zoomed out to show most of the entire region and how the sprawl currently sits.

That big red thing at the base is a bauxite mine that also expands over time (the whole city does).

It's taken me over six months to grow the city to this stage.

It's not planned in any way - it's totally free-form and I let the sims guide me... as journalled in great detail in the CJ "CSGdesign's Natural Growth".

Thanks Liberater but I have nothing on CSG. His is just amazing looking. I use the default Berlin region. After I fill it, I'm going to make my own region.

Here it is - the Los Angeles Metropolitan area with its' 3 greatest (and only ones) cities - Eastside, Chinatown and Malibu

1. The region itself

2.The city of Eastside, which is actually in the most western part of the region

3.Chinatown, closing 4000 resident and thus, the biggest one

4.And the growing industrial heaven of Malibu

Hey. I posted my region in an earlier post.

I like the way the region looks, but I always think it misses something.

I saw another guy's post of his region and I figured it out.

-The region view dosen't have night.

So I am in the process of creating a night region view pic
