Cool region. Nice to see someone doing the semi-obscure regions of the United States. Most people wouldn't know where Duluth, MN is or Traverse City, MI. Must make for some crazy ferry usage. Keep it going, I'd like to see the country side get developed.

A partial Montaukshire regional view.  WARNING: Image is 3 MB, and about 4500x4900 in size!

EDIT:  This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago, so, it is slightly obselete, but, much more up to date than the previous December 2005 photo.

Click here to view the regional image.

DT Ive seen that one before and I love it soooooooooooo much. Its a very realistic city in terms of scale and actually looks like a major city of around 1 million, mayb more. Do you continue to develop the city?

I posted this before on the other region screenshot thread that never got off the ground but here it is again anyway. amherstburgmetroareasmallmay11.jpg

Above is Amherstburg, current population 7,168,000. I'm nearing the end of my work on this one. I need to still fill in the Western suburbs, I need to return to downtown to fix it up and I need to redo the tile with the empty area next to downtown as I don't like how it blends with its neighbours. Should be done for the region's 2 year anniversary.

^ That is Urban. Nice region spa. You need to cover almost all of the open areas with suburbs, though. Then it'll look real nice.

All the other regions are looking awsome!

Hong Kong.. Wat a HIT on the forums, 1st try for a large metropolis (Stranded due commute-time problems.. worked on it for 6 months)

New York City, all the boroughs.. After TheJerseyDevil, the recreation who got most far and longest CJ I think. Real pleasure with this region. Unfortunately couldn't complete it because of conflicting plugins of airports, to bad.. this region was great!! (played over a year)

Very impressive Region, Joe. It looks very realistic with the farms meandering through the valleys, surrounding small towns scattered throughout.

The Forum Rules, wise guy! If DT were here, he'd quote them here and you will see. Still, it is improper behavior 1) to advertise in a thread that is either not your City Journal or a thread truly relating to it, and 2) disrespecting the rules and back-talking to an extremely coveted member of this site like he was your little brother. Got it memorized? TopCliff

P.S. I was going to show my region, but changed my mind last second.

Well, I sure don't want to wade into a debate on impropper posting, so I'll just post a couple of region shots.

I offer for comparison two regions... One became unplayable due to incorrect useage of a mod (boy, did I ever learn my lesson about reading read-me files!), and the other was my second attempt at building the same city.

Obviously, I've spent alot more time on the second region, but it's still kind of neat to compare the two, you can see the similarities in some areas. And, the fact that it's on the same map, naturally

First attempt....

regioncorruptedone5ca.jpg

Second attempt... same map, but a little smaller area

regionnoncorruptedone0oo.jpg

Easier to spot the similarities in the transit maps...

First attempt

Second attempt

Actually, I'm pretty sure I've posted similar pictures elsewhere, but this seems like a more appropriate thread

psteverific: That's the Toronto region right? I'm working on that too, mine isn't as excellent as your's is though, but I haven't come that far yet.. Here it is:

I've partly given up on it. It takes an awful lot of time to play it...  14.gif

psteverific: which mod was it? I would have thrown a fit of rage if that happened to me.

Wow, that Montaukshire region shot is awesome!

This is the grand-daddy of urban regions, no doubt.

Superb work DuskTrooper, thanks for sharing it with us.
